Why is it a good idea to use Hypothermia and Ele Focus in the same link?

i suppose:
- 49% more damage (+10 increase) for elemental - 39% more damage over time for hypo. |

As far as EE goes, is it better to hold off on taking that until you can get a weapon with the craft on it? It seems like it would be a massive PITA to have to cast another spell manually on every single pack of enemies in order to avoid accidentally buffing their cold resist.

How do you proc Elemental Overload while leveling with Vortex? Any other spell like Orb of Storms or Storm Brand is mandatory to proc it?

atm I'm just running concentrated effect, smaller vortex, but with out a trigger, and having brand, oos, etc go off all at once I can't see using it yet.
