With the path that this build takes, the minion nodes are a very few points of investment for a lot of damage increase, so I doubt any other nodes would be more damage with same amount of points.

Also you should definitely use Concentrated effect, what you should wait with is EO until you have trigger spells weapon.

Even ziggy made a build with out using the nodes, he forgot to grab ee, but I also saw Ghazzy not minion nodes. I just don't know where he's getting crit from. He doesn't use trigger and it shows his vortex has 5% crit hmm. I have zero idea how he has crit on vortex. There's one node, but it's not enough crit. Light of divinity.

He doesnt use 'Spiritual Aid' which gives: "Increases and reductions to minion damage also affects you" which I think can be very powerful. Will it still be viable?
All vortex occultist builds on poe.ninja use % increased minion damage along with that node.

yes he told it in the video.(about the ring and EE)

but:

- he don't use the same support on skill (boneshill/ swift afflic/ hypotermi)
- don't use zelot oat and the minion domage node, so don't go on the left side oh the tree


so i mean it's not realy the same "kind" of coldsnap-vortex.

Builds are a bit different but the OP build is 2.5 months old and not 3.6 up to date. Ziggy's is as of today and includes some new league mechanics.

I'm guessing both are ok and strong

Quite tricky for a noob like me to know which one to choose as for affordability clear speed and bosses, regardless looks like buying prices for items for this build will be quite high now with the increased demand

yep you're right, both build are good.

and in this post, few page ago, conclusion is that's nothing change for this build in 3.6 (for say it quick) :)

The whole point of this build was to make it a bit more tanky and enough DPS.

I believe Ziggy's build is sacrificing a lot of survivability to gain damage, which was never the purpose of this build.

If you read the guide, he often mentions that he went with defensive options over offensive.

The build I posted earlier is still just fine and it's updated for 3.6.

Just a recommendation - don't pick the single minion damage node near EE. Pick +16% spell damage at Witch start area. It's just better.
