Zana Shaped Mod not progressing atlas

New behavior is indeed intended. Sorry this wasn't effectively communicated to players at the time of the change.

I do not like this change at all. As someone who really enjoys a shaped atlas i feel more and more forced to drop the shaped atlas.

Setting up a properly shaped atlas isn't that easy in the first place. It usually involves spending a couple exalted in currency if you want to do it early. Ontop of that new features like the strongholds and master daily missions actively encourage you to complete all maps to recieve those bonuses.

I thought shaped atlas was something that GGG was fine with, giving the players the choice to do it, play the maps they like and to balance it by giving benefits to those that choose to do all maps (dailies, strongholds, completion %'s)?
Don't know why you are complaining so much. There are a lot of possibilities to sustain maps now and you really need a lot less luck to get past the T8+ barrier in SSF.

Yes it makes shaped SSF Atlas a little bit more difficult to set up, but it is really insignificant and overall you can setup your shaped Atlas faster than before.

I've done it a few times now, without shaped maps trick.

Well, no matter how many long-time players you've alienated over the past few weeks with all of these undocumented changes and the horribly designed league which we already know is going core, the good news is that, Blizzard fucked up Blizzcon so badly, they'll be a drop in the bucket.
It seems the IIIQ is also heavily nerfed, but doesn't matter because things drops in huge quantity, no matter what IIQ you have with shaped Zana mod. The mod seems to be completely busted.

Seriously this is bullshit. Shaper and Elder are endgame. Why in the living fuck would you remove the ability to interact with them, if you implement a mechanic, that was supposed to HELP interact with them (shaped Zana mods).

why even ggg did this?
48;49;46;47;58;72;79;83;52;72;52;87;66;87;96;70;86;96;80;89;96;95;90;94;93;83;85;91;95;88;94;92;94;86;83;94;95;95;95;91;94;98;87;88;92;96;89;88;94;96;80;92;94;92;96;84;90;75;86;91;95;94;94;95;95
So while it is intended behavior, can we also get word on if this is a temporary fix? Since the issue was elder/shaper influence not being changed if you didn't have the map shaped normally and were using a shaped map or zana shaped mod?
I assume a proper fix for the system is in the works to accommodate if the map is or isn't shaped to effect elder/shaper influence?
I imagine this bandaid fix will be in place for 1-2 weeks until a proper fix to the initial problem?
Just started to shape t10 into t15 like yesterday and thought them not being influenced were part of the game...

Didn't realise the implication of the nerf on map progressing. My current quest is to do elder on t12. This nerf means I wont be able to shape up a t7 to progress, but will have to find a natural t12 with elder influence. Something I do not look forward to doing.

Didn't realise you could shape up t7 to t12 and get quest progress until this thread :/ Should have done it weeks ago.
one more sample where ggg`s inability to fix exploits fucks over all normal players hard.

sometimes i wonder how my favorite game can be lead in such strange direction by the inventors of the most awesome thing to play in the last 5 years
(DE sadly died 2 years ago).

Old maps doesn't work on master dailies on standard anymore - the masters doesn't appear.

Have a feeling that it's related to these changes.

This is a bad change, particularly for SSF. I mostly run a purely shaped red tier atlas. This will be much more expensive and harder to do in the future. Consider coming up with a different idea for fixing any exploits please.
