Slow Mo Zombies! (No Uniques Needed|Relaxed Playstyle|Easy to Gear|Anyone Can Play|All Content)[3.5]

So, everything is great with the build so far, the only issue I have is how passive the zombies can be. For example, when I am rushing through maps the zombies usually do not attack people asap. Is there anything like the golem builds where zombies rush at enemies without me walking into them? When I was doing the lab I have to stand on or near the boss to aggro him. This will kinda suck when I get to t16 bosses or uber lab, anyone got a fix for this?

Zombies pretty much work to rule on that attack the enemy thing - they do what they are told and little more. And most actions that your character takes will be interpreted as directions. So one technique from WoD's guide is to microwave the enemy from afar using the Charged Dash mechanic, and then jump in once an "attack" has been pre-registered. Convocation can be used to make sure the Zombies show up right away. If the Zombies break off the attack, they need to be re-directed.

Another is to use Skeletons: either toss the skeletons on top of the enemy as a signal to the Zombies, or just make Skeletons your primary offence.

I use an AOE attack skill (Teutonic Slam) and Skeleton tossing to direct Zombies.

But the Zombies tendency to stick to your character makes them an excellent personal guard for your Witch.

You get to set your own balance between Offence, Defence, and ease of play. WoD had offered a solution in their guide that offers copious amounts of all three - if you can master the Charged Dash technique.

Edit: These are general comments. I did not examine your character or progress in order to make them.

Thank you for the helpful reply, I will probably try to focus more on the skeleton's as my offense then.

You are welcome. But you may want to wait to see if there are any other comments (particularly from WoD), before making any big moves. Many of the people contributing comments have made their character info public and you may want to look at some of them to get an idea of how people are customizing the build (my info is not available - yet - because I play on Xbox).

Hey kunpengx,

AnExile_onthePath answered wonderfully :). Zombies will hit anything one of your other minions' hit, or anything you hit...otherwise they are as dumb as zombies. So Charged Dash or Skeletons. And just a reminder that Charged Dash is a channelling skill. You can hold it down or tap it depending on your situation or playstyle. (This is where the Minion Speed Support becomes extremely vitale. The faster they get to where you want them, the better your survivability.)

(Great answer AnExile_onthePath)

The zombies seem to attack mobs that are within a certain radius from you, so if you stand far away from anything, they tend to be passive and do not engage in ranged mobs that are attacking you.

Counter example: when I run a map with 'no mana regen' mod, I don't even use charged dash, and my left mouse click is set to movement only. So basically I literally 'run' through the entire map without attacking. All the killing is done by the zombies triggered by me running near/through mobs.

I actually believe that quickly hovering your mouse icon between mobs of a pack will quickly direct your zombies to move towards said pack and attack. How did I find out? In delve, I often use Spirit Offering on a pile of corpse that's currently behind where I am, and whenever I move my mouse over said corpses, the zombies ALWAYS run in that direction as well, when there's clearly no live mob left to kill in that direction and all the existing mobs are ahead of me in the tunnel being attacked by my aggressively programmed skeletons. Since I noticed this, I've confirmed it in maps, where say if I'm faced with 3 packs of mobs from 3 directions and the zombies are all in the upper-left portion of the screen, all I need to do is quickly hover my mouse icon over another pack and the zombies will move and attack the other mob. On a side note I always use a trackball mouse so it's very easy to do with no strain on my wrist :)

Skeletons, on the other hand, seem to be POE's equivalent of D3 witch doctor and WoW Demo warlock's imp army: glass cannons that attack and die.
Guys some guidence please. currently lv 39 just finishing act 3

Ive been searching but cant find the answers.
I picked up this item and not sure how or if possible to add stats

Its called " Tabula Rasa Simple Robe " orange quality and has 6 linked sockets.
The sockets are not coloured but are all grey.

I am assuming it is a good item for my level.

Is it possible to add stats to it and if so whats the process.
