Announcing Private Leagues

I will very enjoy watching our streamers play that kind of league... oh wait i can't just watch them and play for myself.
My idea is we don't need any 3-month league, just 1 month race break 2 months and start again.

Philosophically, it's important to us that Private Leagues don't make the game easier.

Why would someone pay money to make the game even more harder than it is?

Currenty State of PoE is: Get 1 shotted or 1 shot mobs to survive.

Lets say i pay money and make game harder: 1 shot mobs or get 1 shotted even faster.

Yes making the game harder will make those wannabe-hardcore-players happy.
How many you think will purchase this crap?

I would pay if there would be option to adjust more than those " make it harder baby ".

Make it more simple: sell your whole Game and Files to another Company, since you are going pay-to-play already.

They've cultivated a community of scammers, it's bound to happen.

Seems like a potential interesting thing, however I'd go as far as saying that without an actual mechanic to pull in core league mechanics and even going as far as adding multiple leagues simply for the boosted effect of the league over normal or for just having it because it didn't made it to core this is going to be a feature that is not going to enjoy much use at all.

All I can see this being useful for is streamers as it is.

Can we get eternal orbs back instead of this mess ? cmon...

Are you really sure that you want to EXCLUDE the Streamer`s from "Your" League?
Having in mind that they are playing the same league as you but not really?
Are you guys at grinding gear games crazy to think this is the right move?
You want to make money. Its ok. But this is the wrong direction in my opinion.

Can the private leagues extend past the base league?

If so, wouldn't that be able to affect the next league's initial playerbase?

Overall I'm pretty supportive of that idea, and I'm glad that you're being wary with the options available for it.
