Well maybe is good for clans and stuff.
I dont think it will divide community but it sure will make standard or new leagues short for players. Provide stats who has how many friends/ clans have how many active players so you will see if it will be even viable.
Or even make a voting pool ask players if they even would want this..

I would prefer "Sandbox" league where we have access to all gears/maps so we can test builds and stuff something to appear 1 week before new league starts, after new starts this sandbox will go to void..just so we have perspective of what build to go for or to try to get that build and items in first place. Kinda getting tired starting leauges with not knowing what build I want to play based on my luck first 70 levels what i got then farming currency to buy stuff for my build that i wanted or im forced to end up :D I know I can make new character and farm currency but im a casual who doesnt have to much time..

But what i really want is: save HO layouts for leagues and possible to includ more content to HO's.
I'm going to assume that 3.5.0 won't address the key core issues that have led me and quite a few of the people I used to play with to just give up on the game. They're issues that have endured for years without being addressed.

1. The ultra-end game is broken and unattainable in a league duration. It's not fun to spend a week building characters with friends just to find out that although they will push through even corrupt 8 mod t9 bosses, they will not only choke at t12+, but not even have the chance to actually improve further and overcome those bosses. Even the helpers in global end up just insta-dieing on those hardest of bosses. The only exception are those one or two specific broken unique item abusers that can exploit weird mechanics that end up getting patched out next league anyway.
7+ leagues of this exact same thing happening with well over 2 dozen builds all in that lvl 89-92 range, enough is enough. I won't play a game that's telling me every character I spent weeks to create was a complete waste of time.

2. The story and world of Wraeclast is not captivating or fun at all. I thought I'd finally get to immerse myself in a well written story when acts 5-10 came out, only to find out that GGG didn't bother to fully voice act the entire last two acts. A symptom of a bigger issue, the complete lack of interest in world building. No narration, no story oriented cutscenes, Bosses after Dominus only really exist as either a name drop or to show off some mechanics. The Beast ended up not only being just some entrails you trudge through, but the game even retcons itself as soon as you make it to act 5, and it changes to Kitava being the big threat. The overall story, sorry to say: sucks. There's no easy fix.

So between a game that every patch is more focused on the speed of grinding out levels than the quality of its story, and the ultimate disappointment that whatever build you work on will come up short in the end, what's the point?

Since I came back into playing this game after more than 1 year, I had similar idea about it and I wanted to suggest it. Now I see that this came to realization. This game makes me surprised every damn time, every league is so unique and statisfying to play.

Also I had idea about trading items.

A thing I came across while lying in bed and thinking about trading items that could be lot easier is to make a 'marketplace' in you hideout. It could look like a regular 'crafting bench' but instead it would be 'trading bench'. This could be used in way that you could place items in that 'bench' and set a price for each item.
It could look like stash but bellow the item it would be the price of item and 'buy' mark for players to click when they are ready to purchuse item.
Items stored in that 'bench' are automaticly shown in PoE-trade site.

Trading Benches could be obtained by masters. Masters would have special mission for obtaining this benches and when obtained they would get 'uses' of that bench for certain amount of items. Let's say Level 3 Haku could give you like 3 uses for each day from mission and Haku Level 3 (master) will only allow you to set Armor piece of Max Level 30, Level 4 Haku for Max Level 50.. so on...

Let's say Haku would have Armor chests, Elreon Rings and Amulets, Tora Bows and Quivers...etc...
