Skill Rework - Ice Nova and Vortex

It's a shame more recent skills are being upgraded but Cold snap seems to be abandoned - I've never been tempted to use that since they added the cooldown...

Where is the video? How do I see that frostbolt working with ice nova.. i cant imagine it without having some poets pen or insta casting speed..

Looks like my Ice Nova MTX won't be used for another league, GGG kills Ice Nova so much the skill couldn't be more dead.

Avatar of ice doesn't work because its too far up the conversion table, Avatar of fire works because fire is last (except chaos)

Phys > Lit > Cold > Fire > Chaos, can only go forward not backwards, as a result avatar of ice would have to ignore fire and chaos damage which would feel pretty bad tbh.

Does anyone else think its odd the idea of casting AoEs off a spell that has trivial gmp (2 jewel slots) and auto pierces? Like what exactly do they think is still alive for you to AoE?

Also don't get all the hate for ED/Contagion, contagion has a super fast cast point and is a free trigger for arcane surge the fact you have to cast it really doesn't cost you anything, it also makes ED about the easiest and cheapest screen clearing skill in the game. Sometimes multiple screens even depending on mob density.

Did nobody try it in delve? It was hilarious you could run the entire way with your first ED killing everything as you jog along.

Yay! Now I can use my black hole MTX's and not have to deal with horribly cumbsersome and underpowered skills. Good job on these changes!

More cold skill stuff please! (More than "You can convert it to fire with just 1 gem")
