Quick question: how do you feel about Earendel's Embrace unique as a mace?
It seems to be relatively cheap on trade channels, and the stats/minion boosts appear good too.

It doesn't have any added cold damage to "break" our EE passive, so it "seems" ok to use for this build?
I do actually use skels now and then as i've been leveling, until I can gear up for the rest of the build (i'm still only in act 5).

Thanks for your input. :)
Hey! Nice to hear from you again. I think it's a great unique as long as you're using Skeletons and don't care about their duration. All the points you brought up are the points you'd need to consider. The Attribute increase will be VERY helpful for the build while leveling for sure as we're short on Strength and Dex while the bonus Minion damage is really high for one-handed minion weapons (if you're not forging in the Delve).

It's a great weapon to use.

Just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying this build so far. It works as advertised for a new or SSF player and is also very casual in terms of playstyle. Absolutely no frenzied button-mashing required; this is a one-skill wonder thanks to CD and CwDT.

As a new league-starting player, It took me until late act 5 to finally get the correct gear/sockets to complete the majority of the build. Was also able to add a very cheap Chalice of Horrors, which seems to be another great leveling unique for people to consider.

For acts 1-5 (before getting sockets/gems required for build) I had a lot of luck using zombies, skels, and a backup ranged skill like arc or magma orb (great splash damage). Had to play a lot more like a true summoner; just stay away from the enemies and let minions/spells do the work.

Looking forward to moving ahead with the other acts, and keeping my eye out for the right 6L chest to complete the full build.

Thanks again for the thread, having a lot of fun!

I updated the guide to correct that our Zombies can EASILY do Reflect Damage mods in high end maps.

That's my first time playing PoE (so a complete newbie here), and your build just hits all the right buttons for me. Thank you so much for the amazing job! I'm still at the level 47 and in act 4, so the build obviously doesn't work as intended yet, but I'm slowly getting there.

I really enjoy using Charged Dash and having 9 zombies and 1 Stone Golem (I still cast it manually) running around. Can't wait to move forward with the build, but I'm kind of worried about fighting Act 4 boss (Malachai). I only have 1000 life and 100 ES (with capped resists except for 0 for Chaos - Kaom's dream was kind of hard - there was a mob that almost killed me and 7 of my zombies).

Anyway, I digress. Thank you again for creating and sharing the amazing build! It really is invaluable for us, SSF folks.

That's very kind of you! I really hope you like the game. There are endless ways to play. It's my favourite game by far. I want to play other games but I can't stop POE (for years now).

Zombies as a skill itself, and coincidentally some of the other skills I've chosen as well, really show their value once levelled up. Some skills are only strong from certain supports, others (like ours) get their real power simply from levelling. With this build, you'll notice the irony that the deeper you get in the game, the easier it gets. Story mode is the hardest for this build inadvertently. So don't be discouraged with some of the annoying boss mechanics. Truck through story and all of a sudden it'll be easy peasy.

I'm glad you like the build and I really hope you love POE. If you have any questions about the game, it doesn't have to be guide related, let me know. GGG has made a lot of improvements over the last few months in regards to helping people new to POE understand the game, but there's still a lot room for improvement as well.

Thanks again for taking the time to complement. I hope you enjoy yourself.

Oh, I really hope you'll upload the new videos using the skill setup for 3.4.0 - I really enjoyed watching the two videos you've uploaded.

I do have a question about the build... well, let me start from the beginning. I've tried playing PoE in 2013, but was thoroughly unamused by the slow start, so I've returned to playing D3 for about 2000 hours. It was my most favorite game right until I got so sick of it I couldn't imagine playing even a minute more. I, of course, played and finished such pillars of ARPGs as both Torchlights, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest, Sacred 1 and 2 (don't get me started on Sacred 3 - a lacking game that I regret spending money on), but PoE somehow managed to elude me. Well, it's high time I play this awesome game, and I don't regret postponing it because now I get to enjoy so many improvements over that early version.
Returning to the matter at hand, I love playing puppet master classes (and don't really like trading), so selecting your build was the most natural thing for me to do. At the beginning, I didn't really get what everything was supposed to do and what synergies the sockets and combination of skills would provide, but as I started playing, the mechanics slowly started to click. The only thing I don't really get now is why do you keep your Charged Dash at level 6?
Over than that (and having no idea what I am supposed to do with the Ascendancy Trials and Labs - I hate traps), your explanation is really really helpful and thorough. I did have some problems with deciding what to do until the build comes together, and I picked Flame Totem (it worked wonderfully and even now I'm still using it as a support damage dealer), but the further I'm in the game, the easier it gets. Just like you said.

Really awesome job deserving the highest praise. Also, I saw you used mummies cosmetics, and I couldn't help but buying it myself - they look so awesome. And cute.

I uploaded a 3.4 video example of the build in action. Click here. The links are also updated in the Video and URL sections of the guide.

(Good timing algea1983. Ha ha.)

Cute, ha ha. You and I like similar games. It's hard to leave POE if you like endless build options. I hope you like how much GGG has improved the game. It was great before, it's great now :).

To answer your Charged Dash question, Charged Dash is only to proc EE, Holy Relic, Fortify, and Enfeeble from a distance...and to escape situations. It's not a damage skill for us so we didn't need to improve it. The reason I chose level 6 is because out of all the "important" gems in our build that require Dex, Hatred requires the most at: 98. So I suggested improving CD until we were at the same Dex as Hatred. Hatred is very important so we "need" gear that gives us at least 98 Dex. I didn't want to level a skill beyond Hatred's Dex for a reason that wasn't important to the build. If we decided to switch at some point, we wouldn't want to handcuff ourselves needing lots of Dex for such a minor damage output.

Now, if you luck out and get tons of Dex on your "long term" gear, feel free to make CD level 20! (Maybe keep a level 1 CD kicking around in case you switch gear and end up having less Dex). If you look at Spiritual Aid on the passive tree, you'll see that you'll get lots of damage to any skills YOU use as well. It'd simply be bonus damage to us, but it all helps!

Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm glad you're into it.
