Preview of Water Tech Improvements

The water in 1.0 looks better.

RIP mine potato PC's FPS, GG GGG

Even if u say its will not drop any FPS - it still be ...

Then maybe upgrade? Ofc it will have impact on ancient gear.
No rest for the wicked.
cool
This looks truly amazing, part of the reason i play PoE is because the way it looks and this makes it so much better.

Spoiler
That being said; each league seems to add new content thats heavier for my pc to run (except bestiary). Harbinger blue aoe stuff was lagfest, abyss cracks and mobs green aoe abilities and screen clutter also caused some lag, new temple mobs (even normal packs) use overlapping aoe abilities that killed me more often than the boss because of the lag it caused. And there is still the dc'ing when you try to load towns, so i just hope i will still be able to actually play it in a few months with all these upgrades. Awesome improvements, but potato pc's are a bit struggling; i hope you don't forget that when testing all content on good setups only.

About the league:
-Will crafting be accessible/available to non-traders/ssf players?
Spoiler
Bestiary and incursion added new mods for us players to be excited about; up to 170 added lighting AND 15% lighting pen as a single mod? While these items dropped, we had 0 control over which base they were on, how often we saw them and since they were blue, we needed exalts to properly craft them (ssf unfriendly). Bestiary mods were a bit more accessible, but weren't communicated properly so we didn't know what we really had plus they also very hard to influence availability wise.

-Will league specific unique items be obtainable when you put effort into farming them in non-trade/ssf situations?
Spoiler
I dont really trade and harbinger was the last league i felt i could actually obtain the league uniques in an ssf matter. Abyss was gate by 1) abyss spawn, 2) lych spawn, 3) actual right unique drop (and those last 2 were so rare i only saw the belt and the helmet drop while there was an actual set). Bestiary uniques were just plain unobtainable cause the spirit beast gateway mobs were waaaaaaaaay too rare; never saw 3 out of 4 even once (and they were core content so very unsatisfying). Incursion drops were more diverse due to sheer numbers, but i felt completely powerless in influencing the temple which drops i would get through room upgrades? Finally got a t3 fire room? here's a blue sceptre with 70% fire damage on it? Need a specific vial to upgrade it? Better get 15 flask, 4 belts and then the wrong vial in 2 weeks amount of time. I felt powerless and it was unrewarding and frustrating because i could buy the items for a few chaos.

-With the preview of a delve layout shown last week, it seemed like the rewards were mostly branches with past league mechanics (breach, harby, etc.) and some crafting material. Will those breaches and stuff drop league specific items or will it just be a watered down flashback event for all non 1% rich traders that can only craft occasionally?

-Will dying into a delve reload you back into the map/ho you started it from or load you into town (causing longer load times and dc's because of all the mtx bois)?
Spoiler
Spawning into your own hideout when you get one instead of into random towns where you got nothing left to do when? Me and my friends would really love this...

-The reliquary keys will become even more rare than before; how will you prevent the following outcome: the average player knows they are valuable and they will most likely get more value out of selling them. The really rich traders will all buy them and own all good past league uniques. As a result the keys become redundant to 99% of the player base.

-Will you update the threshold jewel reward quest in act 5 to include all the threshold jewels so it is ssf friendly but doesn't trivialize threshold jewels (as opposed to a vendor)?

-When i reach a depth that has mobs over lvl84/highest atlas mobs will it net me more xp, making the road to lvl100 easier?

-With all the new crafting ingredients and mine drops, after you reach a checkpoint you might have more than one inventory worth of loot you want to take along; can you get back to the checkpoint by way of portal to collect the rest of the loot or is it more like breaches?

-With more new skills being added will come more, maybe very impactful, lab enchantments; will you ever consider making them more accessible to ssf or is this intended as a feature to keep lab runners and traders buisy? Right now i don't know so i just don't bother with it.

Thanks and gl with the work.

this new water makes me........ wet
HYPE TRAIN CHOO CHOOO
I am your Devine one Bow before me
So if you say it "runs in the background" and wont affect our fps... is the water flow calculated server side? If so, will the water "lag" ? River stopping and then fast forwarding?
What happens to items picked up by the crawler if you die/port out as that is when your delve ends.
Thank Malachai you care more about how water looks than about the piece of shit you call a game client.

It's clear now you don't give a shit about how your game runs as long as people stare into the pretty water and buy overpriced reskins.

Every batch of "improvements" makes the game more and more a fps slider and you simply don't care. Why would you since all you care about is milking as much money from the remaining gullible few.

When's the new tab for stuff that drops in delve coming out? Oh, right 1 day before league start.
Is this going to effect on blood flow at Blood Aqueduct? >:)
