I cant kill t16 guardians / yellow elder without diying. Elder's Expanding Nova (phys dmg, AOE to the full area) one shoted me.
How i can improve my survivability with 10 ex?

By standing not in the AoE. -.-

Remain in the inner circle of the attack.
This is a one-shot mechanic you are not ment to survive. Same as UAtziris Flameblasts.

Hey Guys,

I was able to reach delve 900 and I want to make a final update.
Gear used was:

and 2 poet pens with 8% and 10% penetration.

Note for delve my belt had 12% cdr. Total cost of the set is ~200-300 ex.

This set up lets me use 4 curses, ele weakness/temp chains on blasphemy, and enfeeble/warlords COH, with 12k es. In order to do this I dropped spider/HOT/arctic armour.

For mapping I use
at ~ 10k es

For everything besides the deepest delves, this build has been great fun.
I have done 20+ uber elders, 200+ guardians, and 6 Auls below 600 depth, including a 63% more life 98% extra as lightning Aul on depth 643. proof: https://imgur.com/a/LBKefWm, I had to take more ES nodes and adjust my gear, as he was one shotting me at 13.5k es with both POI and POL...

While I can probably push a few hundred more depth, and get ~3k more es from 250+ es gloves with curse enchant (which is impossible to buy) / clarity as mana watchers and dropping more damage nodes for es nodes, at the current es level of 12k I am getting 1-2 shot and dying more than I would like. Also dying to random chaos damage sucks if you do not notice it and swap back to Shavs (which drops your es to a dangerous 10k es).

Overall I am quite happy with the build and would definitely recommend it for everything except for pushing 1k+ delve.

edit: I lied, agony crawler AI is too bad for delve...thinking about running CI instead, lose some damage, but get to 15-16k es and immune to chaos damage...to be continued...

Going to be using this for the +1 curse now that I am CI

Just a heads up, if you can manage some spell fire damage on your abyss jewel, you can use the new Cinderswallow flask with a critmod. Pretty much permanently up while mapping/delving, grants some nice es regen, and 10% more damage to burning dudes.

stealthyy how did you craft that insane es belt?

Is level 4 Enlighten required to be able to reserve enough mana/health? I can't seem to use all the auras at once. Might be because all of my gems aren't fully leveled yet.

Not required, but optimal. I crafted a 5% less mana reserved helm with Essences in order to fit Arctic Armor into the build, since i'm too broke to afford a +4 one. Also had horrible luck trying to get the 30% less reserved ench on a Vertex.



Iirc i had a +4 Enlighten before and tested it, but i didn't have enough mana still to sustain using Frenzy. >.>

I have enlight 3 lvl+bloodrage 20 lvl in The Vertex Vaal Mask and this is enough for 5 auras.

But it's not enough if you use the Spider aura.
