[3.5] Occult ArcPoet - All Content | Millions+ DPS | ÜElder | Delve 1k+ | Videos

Really fun build! Did this as my league starter(somehow), and did Uber Elder deathless on my 3rd attempt 2 days ago, and delving comfortably at 250-300 depth(~7300 ES).

Here's my gear for anyone interested. Haven't tried Indigon yet since I haven't gotten a lvl 4 enlighten, but I managed to accidentally 6-Link my shavs in 30 fusings, and I also managed to accidentally get 4 green sockets in about 50 chromes, so I'm running the 6-Link setup without the Indigon for now.

why do we want multiple curses? Is that vital? Or is it just because they are awesome, I mean I know warlords mark is for regain etc but why the temp chains or enfeeble? Just for defenses?

Why this spider stuff? What does that do? I read the wiki but it didn't make sense it just webs enemies making them slower? Or did I read the wrong thing.

Curses are awesome indeed. We also have some curse effectiveness bonuses being occultist. The spider aura is mainly used for the synergy with spinnetets boots.
It allows you to get 15 to 20 extra es per hit. If you don't use these boots it is just an extra aura that increases the damage monsters take and slows them.

It is more for min maxing and the build is viable without it.

Thank you again mate, I have the watchers eye now and I like the sound of the Spider stuff sounds like it will give me a bit more survivability, going to try and get the rest of the gear tonight and maybe see if I can get a warlords mark on hit/spider aura ring on elder base :)

Too much invests for this build, everything is fine except Uber Elder and Atziri, its very bad.
If you want to farming Ubers - trapper is a way better with minimal invests.

im building it right now. and except for some high end jewels i got pretty much everything covered.

but in the PoB of the guide maker his arc dps comes to an average of 4.4 MIL ?!?!

i cant get mine further then 560k?

what the hell am i doing wrong here?

im using indigon, and for some reason its not calculating its extra damages, might that be the problem?

anyway take a look and please advice me and tell me where the faults are!

While I agree it isn't THE best for Uber elder, Uber atziri is super easy on this build.

I think OP's POB uses the old Indigon and added all the peak spell damage numbers that indigon would give him after attacking for a few seconds. He also added a custom "cast speed %" line to match our poet's pen casts per second to get the damage per SECOND calculation. What you normally see on POB is the average damage per CAST.
Alright guys,

I edited my build for more survivability and got my attack speed to 3.71 atm

it feels alot better, i just want to know how to get more out of it, if someone can tell me how to boost my damage and look for improvements i would be thankfull!

Well I got my guy online last night I spent all my currency pretty much and have about 2 ex left now.

Lacking some str/some dex and had to get them in the tree, melting t15 corrupted maps and bosses. I did die to Minotaur though as I hate that fight and I always die, annoying the syndicate killed me on the way as I got him to just over 10% and needed that last portal.

All in all I like the build to be fair :) Not sure how I can improve now other than better gems and getting a mana reduction helm, I'm running everything bar herald of thunder or whatever it is which I assume is worth than wrath?

The only annoying thing is on maps when there are no mobs I run out of mana and have to run which slows me down a fair bit :(
