How is it even possible to run CI (100% chaos resistance, so poison immunity) and use the shield that is poisoning you? lel
Chaos Innoculation describtion poe wiki: "..., immunity to chaos damage can be a significant advantage." Poison describtion poe wiki: "Poison is an ailment that deals chaos damage over time to the affected target."
Oh dear. There's 74 CI+GR+VP characters on the Incursion ladder at the moment (6 of them Tricksters like my guy Wuru) so I wonder how much that's gonna change?
" I'm... Not even sure what the question is? I mean, if you're serious (If you've had any CI characters, they're so old they de-specced) the shield means that you still get poisoned... It just does a damage type you're immune to. So you're still poisoned, and still technically being subjected to damage over time... Just that you mitigate it all. Same deal, really, with bleeding if you use Immortal Call: you're still bleeding, and still taking physical damage over time... Just that you're immune to the damage. Similar if you're using Righteous Fire and you bump your fire resist to 100% or more. Rufalius, hybrid Aura/Arc/Mana Guardian | Hemorae, TS Raider | Wuru, Ele Hit Wand Trickster

Im the only one watching those episodes to hear Bex's voice instead of watching the actual episode?

" I am running an LL 7.5k ES Occultist and am UberElder viable. (And I started playing in Bestiary. No crazy Legacy Gear) Proof:
Spoiler
CI is really strong for ES Melees that use Red Trail or StatStick/eleconvert with Incandecent Heart. Just because builds that used to work some years ago do not work anymore now (without legacy gear) is no reason to start buffing certain talents senselessly. It is a *good* thing people are forced to come up with new builds and can't run the same builds each new season for years. That the definition of stale. If you still want to run the old crazy 20kES Builds get yourself bonkers legacy gear and 'enjoy'. Or come up with a new specc that doesnt even need crazy numbers to do the content of the game due to new mechanics/uniques. Last edited by Cyrix1337 on Jul 26, 2018, 2:26:23 PM

Why does every build of the week get a massive nerf? It's too much investment in currency and time to replicate and try out these builds. At some point too much change can negatively impact the active player base and community. I shouldn't look at a youtube video and be like "yeah, that's a cool build I'd like to try that out. I don't have the time to level a character up and get the gear before it's nerfed".

" Retroactive nerfs that ruin builds are rare. Most of the time the items needed get just moved to legacy status. That's it. And new builds crop up. Anyhow: How did any of the Build of the Weeks over the last couple Months get nerfed in any way? Wat? Is Arc Trapper suddenly bad or what? Summon Builds IMO are the least nerfed builds of all? Golem Elementalist was and is broken strong for multiple Leagues by now. Red Trail flickers have been around for a couple months by now and work great?
" I thought It'd be awful until I used it. Very fun skill and nowhere near as bad as you think it'll be to watch. I don't have screen shake on, if that matters. From League Starter to Shaper – Cheap, Tanky, Fast and Fun Physical ST – Very Detailed Guide
