HOW THIS BUILD IS DIFFERENT TO OTHER SPIDER BUILDS
Firstly: The spiders are only used for fast map clearing. Boss killing is done completely by the spectres. You never have to worry about spiders despawning during a boss fight! Secondly: There is no clunky Writhing Jar/spawn/despawn mechanic. The spiders will spawn from the first player kill and then self-sustain. You never have to worry about spiders despawning while mapping or delving!
HOW THE BUILD WORKS
DPS and Mapping The build uses spectres for boss killing and spiders for fast map clearing. Spiders have high movement speed, are extremely aggressive and attack everything on-screen and off-screen. They hit with physical and chaos damage, and most importantly, proc poison. They are also immune to damage. Their major downsides are summoning and sustaining them. In this build, Speaker's Wreath is used, so that monsters will die from spider's poison instead of the spider's hit because of 'minion hits can only kill ignited enemies'. There are no sources of ignite in the build. And because poisons count as player kills, the poison kill will proc any 'on kill' effect. This means the spiders own poison will spawn more spiders. The end result is self-sustaining spiders in mapping and delve. For boss killing, the build uses Enhanced Vaal Fallen. They hit extremely hard and make short work of any boss, including endgame bosses. But they move like snails, so that’s why spiders are used for mapping. They also have about 150 thousand life, so are almost mmortal, but they will still kill themselves on elemental reflect maps, so be careful. You can get them in the temple of Atzoatl or Vaal city in delve. Lastly, the build uses Hatred aura for added cold damage, and Victario’s Charity for power and frenzy charges. So, the minions will always have power charges while mapping, and will proc chill and freeze on monsters. And the EVFs can freeze lock map bosses, beyond bosses or anything that doesn’t die quickly. Defenses There are several defensive layers: Firstly, the build uses level 1 cast when damage taken + level 8 spirit offering + level 1 desecrate. Spirit offering consumes 5 corpses for 15% life as ES regain for the necro. And CWDT has a 250 milisecond cooldown, which means it can proc spirit offering four times a second! The watcher’s Eye with fazing will prevent monsters from body blocking you. This helps a lot in delve and juiced up maps with big monster density. The flasks will provide: Evasion, curse immunity, bleed removal and life and ES recovery when monsters die from poison. And the animate guardian will provide fortify and blind aura.
HOW TO PLAY
Mapping To start, you just need to cast desecrate on the nearest pack of monsters. The EVFs will attack but won’t be able to kill them because of Speaker’s wreath, so desecrate will get the killing blow and some spiders will spawn from the corpses. From here, the spiders will spawn more spiders on their own and self-sustain, so you can focus on moving your necro around the map safely. Boss killing For map bosses, endgame bosses or any dangerous rare monsters, you cast deathmark to focus the EVFs on the boss, and ball lightning to proc EE, frenzy charges and curse. If you are experienced with playing a necro, you can also run close and use convocation to teleport your EVFs on top of the boss. For endgame bosses, it is actually better to de-spawn the spiders because they will body block the EVFs and prevent them from hitting the boss. You can do this by quickly weapon swapping. To fully min-max the build, you can use a second pair of wand and shield to give the EVFs about 25% more DPS.

IMPORTANT CRAFT
The single most important craft for this build is 'Gain 10% maximum life as extra maximum energy shield'. This will add 500-700 base ES, depending on your total life.

" Melee Phys because the damage bonus is for each hit. Multistrike give more damage overall because of the repeat hits. But if the monster dies, the EVF just swings at the air. They are also locked until they finish all swings because they can't animation cancel like players. Hi!
Thank you for a nice build! Have never played necro before. Quite nice experience Now playing on SSF and have a question about +1 spectre delve armor. I`m at depth 175 and have seen only 1 minion items location. Is it real at all to find this armor on SSF? Maybe some hints, where to look? Which delve depth or what regions of delve? Thx in advance! that spider find with the helmet is actually great. pretty sure there is more optimization can be done there any other suggestion?
remind me of impale from champion which give more damage to minions. per impale on enemies. wonder how effective is impale guardian with zombies and spiders? that seems to give the most amount of minions? maybe also use srs? since the impale champion give damage to each minion. should be overkill though.
