Orrrrr, you could try some off meta builds that dont clear as fast as the meta in the game that has sooooooooo much build diversity. You could always do clear speed meta's in similar games with fewer options. Not using weird builds in poe is a waste of opportunity imo. Just saying.

Not sure but how about corruption altar on a 20/20 BV and getting +1 gem lvl AND added vaal version. Might be possible, might be rare, might give you an elder BV with added cold damage or a white socket since [insert some bitching about rascism and lack of black in 2018]. Who knows.
May be it's already been asked: The "more" modifier to damage in "Endurance Charge on Meelee Stun" is not explicitly limited to local damage (or better: supported skills) and reads a little bit like a global multiplier - which would bloody powerful and imho mechanic changing...but I think I am only a little bit hyped atm - so my assumption (global) is a little bit optimistic and the multiplier actually only applies to supported skills?

There are several discrepancies between these gems and the gems teased or posted elsewhere. For example, Vaal Blade Vortex has a 3 second duration on this page, but has a 5 second duration posted right on the Incursion Main Page.

What gives? Inconsistent information with no explanations isn't cool.

Vaal BV isn't the only skill with issues. There are several others with inconsistent information spread around by GGG, as well as some not added to this list at all, even after the first set of missing ones were hastily added (not even counting the one and only one gem GGG admitted to being missing).

This post and everything surrounding it has been extremely sloppy. I cannot say that I would want to spend money to support this game if I were a new player seeing this post as one of my first looks into the game. The inconsistencies and lack of useful communication don't become a company the size of GGG.

If this information is correct and these are "stealth-nerfs", I am all the more disappointed in you, GGG. Hyping up content then nerfing it to bunk before the consumer even so much as touches it isn't a good business model. Sounds like one of those flop Indiegogo campaigns the internet despises. Unless, of course, this could be Tencent mucking things up. Looks wonderful for them, am I right?

Please fix this.

Ok, serious question here: what reasoning was there behind buffing fireball (even towards ignites) while nerfing reworked incinerate before release? At this rate incinerate will be deemed useless again before people could even give it a chance, it's bullshit.
At level 20, fireball now has has better damage effectiveness, better single hit damage and better coverage than incinerate, while also having high ignite chance on EVERY hit with almost the same ignite damage as incinerate's flame wave.

Why would You want to do this? Use vaal skill and keep normal gem in other slot. Level normal till 20 then put quality on it and then vaal it. If sucessful then switch gems and go on.

What bothers me is how exackly support gems will work with new Vall gems. As we know some supports wont work with vall skills like spell echo. So is it mean that spell echo wont work on vaal version or it would not work on both skill versions coming from vaal skill gem?

Ive been axing this question in so many different therads and NO ONE gave answer. WHY?
