Ok so beach farm running is not what I would call "relaxing". Mind numbing, zombifying, tedious, repetitively boring, etc. but not relaxing. I am experienced in this with 5 swords last league and 3 this league. Here's my last one:

Well me personally i hate to be the one to have to say it but... From the second i heard about this weapon and HOW you would obtain it.... Ive HATED it!! No offense to Charan but in my personal opinion i was expecting a bit more imaginative or creative way of obtaining the weapon. Especially from him.

Especially once i seen this time around the power lvl for what Charans vision for the weapon looked really in line this time around. I remember very clearly the disappointment of the first version of the 3. And Oni was the chance to make things right.. and this goal was absolutely achieved no question.

But obtaining the item is where im completely turned off. I come on... Are you seriously going to tell me the way this item is obtained doesn't scream "please fucking bot the shit out of me"??? This was suppose to be a lore based weapon so why on earth not make acquiring such an item based around the actual lore? And the difficulty of obtaining it? That was something destined to fail from conception imo. How could no one have seen what happen when it released in Abyss? How on earth was anyone surprised? For me? It was Expected... You put not only a 6L but a POWERFUL 6L capable of endgame content at in the very first area of the game? Really?....

Ive always thought about better options after about day 2 or 3 of its release. (Around the morning i seen it being /remaining farming it) and always thought a better way of gating it to not only make it much more challenging to get but center it even more around the lore...

Gate it behind No Stone Unturned and the All Ears Achivements. Make it so these must be completed first to THEN unlock the possibility of the item being possible to drop in the first place... The grind from there could be left as it is now or returned that part doesn't really concern me as much as JUST having some heavy grind in a starting area of the game to get it just has all kinda of bad shit written all over it.

Just my opinion on the matter. But i do agree with Charan that sword was WAY too fucking easy to get before and probably STILL is now... its just so much of a grind now it just feels like it encourages botting too much for my personal tastes. I also agree with Charan in that this weapon should be EARNED. And i mean not just mindlessly grind an area while watching your favorite sitcom earn it.... I mean get out there and really immerse yourself in the lore to even have a clue what the hell shes even talking about once you do obtain her. And its current way of obtaining is just lazy.
And Charan says for people who dont want the grind theres the cards? Cool i can get behind that i would even take that as far as to have 2 versions of the weapon... one from the cards and then the drop version which should have something special just for the extra effort in going through all that to obtain it. Raise a couple of the rolls maybe or just change the fucking color or art or something.

IDK for such an epic weapon that so much effort and work was put into i just always felt the way its obtained fell so short of what it could have been. Just my opinion not hating by any means btw.

dont know i just bought mine for 40 alchs :D in the beginning of the league some guys got their oni and i got mine + lvl 80

I mean, I'm up to 11 if I recall. The two that are on my Beastiary Slayer dropped extremely fast, both Scions were ~40% level 7 and /played was under 2 hours. I have had characters that take 4-6 hours and my longest farm was over 8 and a half hours. It's an extremely strong weapon and I feel like there is a degree of chance to obtain it in the early 7's. I feel like I could get 4 Scions to Uber range and effectively farming it in under 6 hours.

From the time I have invested which also includes every class besides Witch (Fuck fireball) and marauder the only complaint I can legitimately have is not having customization in the actual zone. I'm not going to ask for random skill drops although playing a Templar and having to melee Uber to death and weapon-swap to Glacial to Prolif the add spawn was really fucking annoying.

Ranger was actually pretty fun and did far better single target than I gave her credit for. Main issue with the class? You can't roll a quiver due to level restrictions. Major DPS loss to not have that while Shadow/Duelist get a Last Resort and their damage skyrockets.

I still haven't found even one of those cards. Leveled one character in Abyss post-Goroshi launch and leveled 2 characters in Bestiary. Just how unlucky am I?

I've leveled this Jugg to 92 and spent a good bit of time farming in both Aquaducts/Blood Trough as well as leveling my Scion up. I believe the only card I've received was from a Div box.

People have told me to just farm the card instead of making characters on Strand but even with my ventors and other IIQ gear I'm still coming up empty.
