The big heavy monster are okay to capture but those rares (just a regular rares) which we need for most recipes are dying instantly and if you want to capture it you supposed to throw a net before their white mobs die. If you can kill the monster and then capture it anyways, it takes away the capturing part. I mean, 90% of the monsters can be captured by throwing the net before damaging them(note, I haven't been to red maps as I write this). If you have a net for those 10%, or even 1%. What's the point for this mechanic? You might as well completely scrap it, and add monsters to the menagery as we kill them.

For god sake, NO. The 3 seconds window is already too rewarding to high damage fast clearing glass cannon builds

And, you want a dead corpse for what? Food?

My experiences as a ED trickster... They die TOO FAST and it is hard to "single" them out when A. they spawn 200 adds (exaggerated but ya get the idea) so would be nice if they didn't like bite the net over instantly when below half HP.

So that is two issues for me, which neither of the solutions fix, 1. die too fast or 2. too many adds to target the one you want, aka the unique which could help if we could cast a little earlier without them instantly breaking free.

What would the reason be to capture a dead one? It is already dead, unless you want to chop it into steaks then NO!
No. Dead is dead, we are not going to eat them :)
Even though I think it would like reeally help me get faster to those 40 challenges or making this special recipe from this rare monster that i can't catch, I still voted for 'no' and I think that the monsters should be only possible to capture while alive. This will crash the whole immersion, and, really, it's bad cause sometimes (or more often) you kill a rare beast? Isn't this whole game like, based on RNG? I personally like it how it is.

But, (I don't know if the patch already went live so im writing it with the knowledge from yesterday) when casting a net with the appropriate level on a mob with full life is breaks almost instantly after throwing, wouldn't it be better to like give time to damage it? So you can throw the net at full health mob, and then get it down to low life so it will be catched.
I am voting Yes as I play a zombie SRS build and it can be very hard to get even red beasts at times as I either have to take all my zombies down and try to find the right amount of SRS to kill it just right not to fast that I can't net it and not to slow that it breaks out enrages and then dies before I can net it again or I have to try and throw it at the group and hit it before it dies.

They're going to give all nets a small radius to auto-target the rarest beast in a pack, regardless of how this poll turns out.
