While i've had only the rare off-chance of killing a yellow or red beast, I believe it'd be nice to have Necro-nets to salvage beasts, Infact, you could even make Necro-nets capture a beast *ONLY* As the base monster type, Or make beasts lose their Aspect/Unique modifiers if caught with necro-net. |

Right now the capturing feels clumsy. Hard to capture anything when your screen is full of corpses and if you somehow manage to throw a net 9/10 cases it hits the wrong target and the real target dies before you realize it wasn't the right mob in the net. |

I voted NO.
It has become clear to me the entire setup of the league is to combat the clearspeed meta. You won't ever fix that though, its just to efficient for both exp and profit to do it slow. However for casuals this is a nice league. That said however, I feel that you need to rework the capturing system a bit. For a slayer in the duelist ascendancy this league is impossible to do, as you kill high end mobs way before you can successfully capture them. For the slower ones of us, like juggernauts that lack some damage the league is a bit tedious as some mobs are just way to tanky to bother with, takes to long. What I would do is rework the nets mechanics, something more like a curse system. Where throwing a net will curse a target for x time (1 minute?) during this period if the beast gets low enough it will automatically catch it. Right now if there are to many mobs on the screen it becomes really difficult to click a single target in time, before it dies from some DoT or a totem or a cull or a minion or whatever. Overall I think its a league that has a nice change of pace to the game, but honestly, make a breach 2.0...:) or just redo breach, don't think you will get complaints. Choo Choo Madafaka

I voted for yes but only if it's rare, as rare as annul orb if not moreso. Like many posters before me, I started this league with a minion build which made it way more frustrating/difficult to capture beasts because they would go to 100->0 faster than I could react from zombie slams and spectres. The net window is much more forgiving but error forgiveness in the form of a very rare and desirable net sounds fun to me.

If a change is necessary (and I’m not sure it is) I think GGG could introduce (suitably rare) shards of revival/orbs of revival that can be repeatedly applied/used on the corpse of any non-unique monster in the game. The revived (and possibly upgraded) monster could then fought/killed/netted (without experience/loot to prevent farming). This gives players that accidentally kill their target another opportunity; however this opportunity costs currency (orbs of revival) and is potentially a more dangerous fight.
The kill/revive/upgrade mechanic could be used separately to create new challenges. For example, players could be rewarded (somehow) for killing sufficiently upgraded monsters. |

i say no!
If minion builds are an issue (wich i doubt, you can clearly see the markers and be quick to throw it) make a fix towards minions Even if it's rare, people will just buy/sell them and the rich get richer. If you want to capture beasts and engage in this league, you should step away from zoomzoombambam and actually think while your playing. |

Also, I still wait for this sweet s*t storm when Polygon or other media realize that all ANIMAL CRUELITY here ;)

There are certain builds where it's just hard to react to get the net thrown in time, particularly when it comes to DoT builds like CA or RF where by the time you recognize it's a new beast or some mod you need, it could already be dead.

While I think adding nets that work on dead beasts doesn't make much sense and would take away most of the challenge I would still like to see them. It happens so oftens that I just 1-shot a yellow beast or just die 5 times to a red one because I am trying so hard to not kill it and check his lifebar every now and then while dodging 20+ skillshots. (Also my fault because I decided to go for a map-clearing build with no single-target DPS, but yeah. I think you get the idea)
I don't want them to drop like the other nets do tho. If you are able to capture beasts that you've already killed, they should be pretty rare. Not too rare tho, like exalts or High-tier uniques but they shouldn't be dropping like Alchs and Chisels. |
