No pls, catching roadkill is not a good option.
Biggest issue I have with this catching is targeting... If there was a solution like bigger nets or area (like curse) that would be quite enough...
My personal thought is you should not capture dead animal, but please make it easier to target...
Prob lots of ppl have alrdy mentioned it, however, my experience:

Most mobs, even the red/rarest ones, even when ghosted, either insta die to my damage or i throw the net b4 I hit them and then they just enrage and its over anyway... Not gonna wait just to "accidentally" kill them when they're back to their normal state.

You could remove the enrage mechanic completely (or just in maps?) but force ppl to get the mob below 25% (or 10% or w/e) within a short time frame (3sec?). This way there wouldn't be any reason to introduce new stuff to capture dead bodies.

Just my 2 cents.

Add a trap with which you can catch Piety, PLZ!!!

I hate the whole capture thing, it is unfun and kills the game, I play this game to go fast and kill.Voted yes btw

Couldn't have said it better myself.

So you can choose not to engage with it as a core mechanic, just like you might choose to not farm Uber lab, or do boss runs, or prophecies. Instead of dumbing it down for the people who do enjoy it. If you just want to go go go and kill without thinking, diablo 3 might be more your speed.

So much of this. Except you can't make money with D3 nowadays, that's why those people are here, ruining the experience for everyone else.

I love how they split the Yes vote into two meaningless qualifiers only to give No a false impression of overwhelming popularity, which could sway more voters. Clearly they must favor No themselves. Blatant divide and conquer or amateur mistake? Again? Happens too often IMO.

P.S. Voted No.

Anyone notice most of the people saying no have less than 3 challenges and a character below level 40? Funny.

Funny how it feels the other way around if you have different opinion :) makes me wonder how many people in general (and on which side more ;)) logged multiple accounts to vote multiple times.

This issue has very little to do with enjoying the game in itself heh. The most vocal ones against Bestiary league are those who speed-farm currency and RMT it away. Why is everyone tip-toeing around the real issue here. THAT is the problem. So basically this poll is mainly about "do you want to let the currency farming RMTers to keep their easy life -> press YES".

People who enjoy this game and support GGG for the "product" they deliver are a lot more understanding and open-minded about the new leagues, new mechanics and new ideas of making the game fresh.

People who just want to make quick $$ with poe want loot-pinata available (if possible) only to the wealthy (ridiculous sextant blocked, endless elder Vaults -> go).

There's a difference between people who enjoy every aspect of the game, and wait impatiently for every new league to experience something new vs those who don't care as long as they can keep farming their Vaults to make $$ and care about the new leagues only to the extent of "how can it make me squeeze vaults for more cash".

Which of those two do you want to accommodate GGG? Because I'm sure that the RMTers are buying supporters packs, yeah. Does that give them the right to dictate YOU the terms of your work? The other side supports you too, and loves the game for what it is, not as a mean to an end. You do not have to cave to those vocal ones who feel entitled to always have their way.

And yes I painted it black and white, it is a lot more grey in reality. But if you spend the time to read through this wall of text, think about it - whoever you are.

In hindsight, this also killed D3.

The AH was not perfect, Inferno might have been super hard, but I had fun as a Casual. Once Inferno was nerfed, the AH removed and the RMT traders winning, Blizzard just completely removed trading and everyone left the game.

If GGG does cater to the RMT´s now, then they will support the wrong guys, as casuals stay, but the businessmen will just move to the next profitable game around, soon.

Besides this, the poll shows how divided the community is, just like in RL. People just don´t get along well anymore and it is to be found everywhere in our society.
GUUUYS! CMON, It's not that hard to fix this issue:

Let's say that when a yellow or red beast would die, they going in a state of unconsciousness instead, like a longer stun, THEN you can throw your net, and based on the damage they received in a given time, or based on something else, the game decides it will break free and enrage for a second round or not. After every capture and enrage phase the chances of capture will increase maybe, but after like x failed attempt you cannot try it anymore, whatever you get the point.

I play with a flameblast totem build and it is REALLY frustrating.... worst leage I played in yet as it is currently... big spike of damages makes impossible to capture beasts, not to mention the slayer 20% culling ability...

and THAT is what is artificially pumping up the "yes" votes. People who don't want this illogical experience of "capturing" a pile of dead meat. But they see in it a chance to deal with the targeting issue - which is there.

So yeah - I'm betting a lot, that if GGG introduced a re-worked targeting mechanism (auto-target highest rarity beast in range, for example) and make this POLL 2-3 days after THAT change. The outcome would be a crushing win for the "No" vote.
NO, because I don't care. Deleted my character and I'm passing the league. I just can't bear it... Capturing mechanic improvements won't make it feel better. With ~500k shaper dps (at lvl 71) I barely do damage to some legendary beast at T4 maps, not to speak I then have to fight them again in claustrophobic arena where I have no room to operate and stand no chance because I'm ranged caster (so leech is not that amazing and I highly depend on positioning which is out of the question in arena). And all this just for shitty random unique recipe, so I imagine better recipes will be even more impossible especially in the arena part.

So yeah, deleted the character so I'm not tempted to give any more chances and drown myself in frustration. Decided to move on and pass this league completely.
