I'm really surprised at how popular "no" is. Too many people assume that clear speed meta is the ONLY driving force for capturing dead beasts. But honestly, clear speed meta isn't even a reason to want this. No matter what you have to stop and throw a net which would be the only down time for the speed runner. It literally has no change to clear speed than what is currently live. people don't realize how many builds that are being made useless for the league if no actually gets chosen. Such a disappointment that people can't see things for what they are.

Two cons against the league mechanic and it's implementation.
First every other league allowed you to skip its content if you didn't want to engage with it. Look, there's a breach! I can walk past it and not care. In bestiary god forbid you find a beast in story mode and you are undergeared or don't have crafted flasks. Look, there's a yellow or red beast. Fuck me, if I dont have the dps, the resists, the right flask affixes for the encounter. Second once captured the beasts simbols should display basic information about where it can spawn if the beast was captured (or can be found) in story mode. Take the beast with the deep one's presence mod. If mods aren't random and can spawn in certain zones (say flooded depths in this case) shouldn't that information be available once you capture your first monster with that mod? Or else why do monsters in zones you enter for the first time have the tag "new" if the only available information about them is a type and nothing else? Other than that the capture improvements made the experience more enjoyable. |

My idea would be to cast the net and remain as a marker on the target until you kill it, that way we can also avoid exploit on some dangerous monsters like essence ones.
Having the nets is horrible, adding another type is worse... I voted no |

With the way things are it would be easier to just let us Net corpses. I might think differently if Nets would have an option to home in on the highest level mobs in a pack or something. But with the pain of having to run in circles around a pack of monsters trying to surgically make sure the Net is on what you want to capture is just not fun to me.
