I voted 'yes, but rare' on behalf of the minion/totems builds that have no effective way stop the damage output. But I still don't like the idea of a net that can render the use of any other capturing technique obsolete. Not to mention lugging around more nets.

It would help to massively speed up the net throwing and netting process and allow the net to be thrown from long range. Mayne give it a projectile type animation and make it home in on the target so you get a sense of the mechanic actually working >insert yet another Pokemon comparison here<

Make it so that the nets dont break so easily, and make it so that the nets dont completely immobilize the mob.. if they roared (area debuff or damage) while in the trap, it would make gameplay sense.
Voted no. I want mechanics that force me to adapt my tactics and play in new ways. This will force clearspeed builds to sacrifice a socket for a less damaging skill, thus mixing up gameplay. That's what leagues should do, and it's something this game desperately needs. It's a decent, if insufficient counter to the clearspeed meta.

That said, as a compromise to the compromise, there could be added nets that give targeted monsters a huge resistance to all damage taken. It would be rarer, but provide a very safe option for glass cannon builds. The most efficient way to play would still be to play smartly and differently, though.

Voted for No because i find it immersionbreaking; would feel like to use a shovel to scratch dead cats from the street. I think then is the sense from this league killed.

The new league mechanic is a complete disaster. I just can't believe despite all the detailed negative feedback in the week or two leading into this, warning GGG about how the league mechanic was being implemented, they still ignored all of us and aborted this garbage out on to the community.

The only positive aspect so far about the new league is that you can simply skip it all together.

As far as the poll, allowing players to be able to capture dead beasts seems like the only fair option. There's just such a massive number of builds across all spectrum's and classes that are severely hindered or straight up unable to capture beasts, it seems like the only reasonable option. Any of the two other options just means you are excluding a large chunk of the player base & driving users away from the league and game.

I really hope GGG finds another solution because this poll shows there's a bigger underlying problem here with no side being in clear of a solution
I'd rather have more incentives to spend the time and attention to capture a beast alive rather than having a magical "reset" item if I kill the beast already. A break from mindlessly erasing groups of monsters while mapping could be a nice added game change.

But this is coming from a player has never went past level 85 until the last league. :)

Never saw anything so stupid in my life, good job mate, if u want to go slow playing shitty builds, go for it, if you are bad at the game and want to play it at your own pace, go for it, just dont FORCE other people to adapt at your needs since you clearly have some kind of limitation, you still can go slow and play your shitty ass no dmg builds as u want, since clear speed meta dont affect you, let it be kid :)
