Thanks for the poll! Please no :) Finally, Bestiary offers some relief to the clearspeed meta and at least offers some trade-off to clearspeed. You can go super fast but you're gonna miss valuable things! I think that's great.
I don't get the idea of "no" other than to try to make the "yes, common" players stop playing/supporting. The idea is to have fun and the current system is anti-fun.

If you do not want to capture dead beasts, then do not pick up the grocery cart nets. Problem solved. Lets face it, the beasts end up dead in the long run anyway.

I would have left it as kill to capture and skipped the inventory clogging nets to begin with.

As it is this is the worst/most irritating season since seasons were introduced. On the other hand with a long run of fun seasons a bad one had to pop up eventually.

Either way this doesn't change the clear speed meta. Either speed to farm the red beasts or speed and ignore everything about this season.

haven't read through much of the posts but, as a slayer, we need it. I haven't been able to catch a double beast since level 58.. maybe raise up the hp for the beast with 2 mods because they literally need a black bar to be caught which a slayer or anyone who culls just cannot do..
Make "dead nets" drop on capturing a beast only (well not each and every capture, but one of 5 or so).

That way people who capture beasts can sell their dead nets to clearspeed metagamers.

That way metagamers will be literally "paying" (in a direct sense) for their arrogance to all the rest normal players.

And capturing a beast will be more rewarding.
"yes, but more rare" i only choose this option because i enjoy playing totem builds/ and rarely summoner builds.

i lean towards no because i feel like it should be a limited window of oppertunity to savour value of the beasts. but i have to imagine most people who play similar builds that dont particularly target enemys will have a more difficult time.

i dont have the awnser to how to solve this.
my hope is that the no vote wins and then some other solution arises that will help out the builds that kill first and ask what they killed second.
Gather all suggestions from this thread and make a vote.

Maybe one of the proposals will win a clear majority.
Voted yes because I enjoy playing totem builds (4 leagues in a row now) it's like impossible to stop them from attacking fast enough to capture sometimes, very frustrating.
Yes, but more common.
Please.

Looking at the results so far this is going to be weird:

5450 50.24%
2575 23.73%
2824 26.03%

There is a 50:50 chance that 75% of people won't get their way here, the other option is 50% won't get their way.

So best case scenario half the people playing are going to be pissed. Kind of trapped yourself making this poll I think Bex.

I agree the poll isn't perfect, because 99% of the player base wont be voting on it,

Does anyone here really think less than like 80% of players who never get to red maps are going to think "nets that capture corpses" is anything but a dumb sounding idea? What about the other 9% of the player base that only just gets to red maps and doesn't really keep going?

No one here's going to convince me that the "gotta go fast" subset of the 1% are a majority of the player base, when those metrics pretty much preclude 99% of the player base from having most shaper orbs or a shaped atlas strategy.

The gotta go fast boys aren't even a majority on this forum if those numbers are any indicator, 50% flat no, and 20+% "yes but rare" we can reasonably estimate that at least some of the "yes but rare" votes are begrudging votes made by non clear speed players who don't want to feel like dicks for voting flat out nope.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.

No. It would be extremely immersion breaking. "You will either be a survivor, or you will be food!"
