I vote yes.

I don't like the idea of 'capturing' dead beasts. But the best league mechanics will dovetail nicely with what we've already showed up to do in this game. Trying not to kill something while reducing its health as low as possible is antithetical to the experience of the game. Personally, I just feel like this whole league is poorly thought out (despite the fact that a lot of work was obviously put into it...)

If you're not going to allow dead captures then increase the net duration to 10 seconds, i.e. infinite. Then, at least, we can toss an net, kill and keep going.

I voted yes but rare because I like having options. That being said, capturing a live beast should always be preferable to just scooping up a dead one. If the yes votes win, please ensure that dead captures are worth less than live captures.
I do think we need an improvement here, but I don't think capturing dead beasts is the best option. Kills much of the fun and essence of the league.

I'd be interested in seeing a change where nets persist on an enemy until death and a change to the enrage mechanic to become "an enemy that has 1 or more nets on it becomes enraged until death." in place of the current "enrage on breaking from net."

Admittedly, this may be biased more towards frustration I have had with multiplayer capturing issues and less about monsters off-screen dying to minions, but would seemingly alleviate other issues mentioned.
I'm fine with how it works currently, so I'd say no. Much pricier yes (to give incentive to use the cheaper/trickier version) wouldn't be horrible though.

Yes but easier / cheaper makes the entire league irrelevant. Don't adjust tactics at all and damage whore through everything as usual, then you might as well just farm currency and buy from those willing to work with the mechanic.
It seems Red monsters still are able to get out of nets instantly? Or is it net level issue? If a "regular" net can guarantee 3-sec window, show net duration upon netting monsters, auto targeting, and show a net cool down, which are all reasonable mechanics IMHO, then no need to capture corpse.

Culling strike / summoners / totems may have issue though.

Remove nets completely and bind V to pick up any corpse by will. No nets, no problems. Keep it simple, stupid. This is a worst league ever for ages, the biggest fail. Just nuke those fucking nets down to atoms!

Not sure why anyone would vote "No". If you don't want to capture dead beasts, then don't. I'm always up for player choice. The ability to play the game the way you want, whatever that may be, will always lead to more satisfying experiences for a larger demographic of players.

Maybe incentivize live captures through some sort of mechanic, or maybe require additional captures of the same creature type if you weren't able to get one alive?

My necromancer's minions kill faster than I am able to target and cast the net.

Without net dead beasts, the whole league for me is the Vorici quest to keep a boss at low life for 8 seconds.

Sound fun?

Why don't you add it 'dead beast net capture' as a skill on the Necro Ascendancy?

I would be willing to swap for an equivalent level character.

Otherwise, how many days until the next league?
