However, y'all at GGG don't seem to care much for boundaries (compliment) which is one of the reason I dont tend to share with people the amount of hours i have logged in this game. That being said, maybe a leveling unique that gives % chance to cast net on monster death. Maybe it's a 'soul net', thus keeping the integrity of the living monster mechanic. Or just a resurrection mechanic. Also have the net which is cast just scale with monster slain (i.e. monster/net level wont matter/just have it cast highest level net at all times?) I'm rambling. You guys know what youre doin =] |

Just say "NO" to roadkill league.
Great league concept. Don't destroy the novelty/challenge of capturing live beasts. This is the first new game concept that has reinvigorated my belief that GGG is still invested in making a great ARPG and not a reskinned Touhou shooter/bullet hell shmup and clearspeed meta. There are other, already released games on the market for those that want that flavour. On a more critical note, I do empathize with those that are running builds where it is difficult to capture (totem/necro), but throwing a net on a dead corpse is the easy way out, and doesn't cost GGG anything. They should have spent more time on the net mechanic and capture process before releasing it to the wild. I think there is still work to be done to make this a great league, but allowing dead captures is NOT the solution. Saying 'no' means they need to look at the capture mechanic and better integrate it into the game. Saying 'yes' only means yet another slot lost in your backpack space. Think about it. "We were going to monitor the situation but it was in the wrong aspect ratio." Last edited by Garr0t#3474 on Mar 4, 2018, 10:05:09 PM

How's this instead.
Replace throwing nets with a throwing a portal. Anything we kill around the portal gets sucked into the menagerie. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

I say “Yes, but more rare”
I know I’m in the minority, and agree that capturing them dead doesn’t make much sense, none actually, but as summoner its kind of hard to deal with capturing, its either too healthy for the nets to work, or once the minions starting hitting it, it dies faster than the character can throw the net, never mind the mess of creatures on screen, mobs and your own. As it is, it’s either go bare hands without your main damage dealing, aka minions, doing so becomes a chore quite fast, leading to skipping capturing or just simply skip monster capturing entirely. |

Catching dead beasts would be absolutely broken. Just make it to where rare+ beasts can't be culled.

Make "dead nets" a 50/50 thing, that way people will still be trying to capture not kill.

" Because apparently people still need to be reminded that GGG created the clear speed meta, not the players. Anyone doing endgame content know that the actual setup won't be viable. Also you guys need to really start thinking about the implications it will have on the league as a whole. If GGG is acting so fast already after it's out,it is probably a safe guess that it already doesn't have as much people as others leagues. Last edited by Pr1d0#3384 on Mar 4, 2018, 9:47:02 PM

Voted no, but ask again in one month or two :P

for summoner and totem and other quick kill builds its too hard to capture monsters alive that's why i voted yes. BUT if you remove the delay when throwing nets, it might be better? dunno
