i gave this a NO. When i (my totem) accidentally kill the beast, especially the red ones, i feel so sad and remind me to throw the net faster next time. If we could target corpses, there would be no fun at all. I suggest u add some "dying time" for about 2 sec for the rare beast. They will stand and remain 0 HP for 2 sec before actually die. Or just simply reduce net-throwing-time. But in my opinion, i see it's balanced. It's hard to catch, yes, but come on. Rare beasts are not hard to find, and this is just the 3rd day of the league. People will get used to it soon

If you are in need of a bandage fix, try a Einhar daily, that will reward you with an item (one or more), that will be account bound and will allow you to capture/res a dead beast. Do NOT add dead body collecting as a thing in the game. The DeadNet being rare doesnt solve anything, you will just cry for more droprate.

I wouldn't add a new net type, I would make changes to the base functionality for the way captures work so that they're a bit easier to use in the middle of a map clear (or while overleveled for your current campaign zone).
Otherwise, you'll have to introduce this new net really early on (as this problem starts manifesting almost immediately if you're over-leveling early zones or using Molten Strike, Viper Strike, etc) and that adds a lot of front-loaded complexity to the leveling experience that seems unnecessary. No, and I play as Necromancer in this league so far. It's fine the way it is now, even if tougher for some builds (but that's a choice right?). Maybe find a way to make targeting easier, but I really want to catch beasts while they are alive!
Still, kudos for the great patch and league and keep innovating! It's so good to have a developer open to feedback and close to the community! :) |

Nets should be a stacking movement debuff.
Multiple nets can possibly reduce movement speed to a crawl. Monsters with "can not be reduced below base movement" will just be more difficult. Throw the net early to reduce movement speed and then kill it to simulate defeating it... The builds with uber dps just have to be more careful when clearing to get the net on early. Capturing beasts is a skill.... I feel this is a best for all solution. |

"Dead nets" is just another droppable currency instead of capture mini-game.
Well the whole beast finding and beast recipes thingy is just awesome, if you remove capturing it will still stay within game. So just do it and let people enjoy the real bestiary content. |

I suggest to create an equipment that wouldn't kill any rare/unique beast, or maybe targetable skills to lock down any beast so that we couldn't kill them

I'm new to POE but I say NO, because of Pokemon rules you can't capture a fainted Pokemon same should apply here...
