My main issue with the league so far is an incredibly small damage window that's frustrating, rather than challenging.

If you're taking steps to fix that, then i'm honestly good, the rest feels great so far.

As for dead beasts capture - just make sure it's not fundamentally better than capturing alive beasts, otherwise that'll be awkward.
The proposed changes sound good, though I've been having a lot of fun this league already. You all did a great job.

Shame to see how rude a few people can be in threads like this. Don't let the socially inept get you down!

Interesting mechanics enthusiast.
How about get rid of nets entirely. What do I need these stupid nets for? Make them like invasion bosses. You kill you get credit. Oh and make them always enraged so challege is there. Now it's just busy work.

Instead of new nets, maybe dead nets work like a monster at 30% hp, (hard to work) vs normal nets can get a way higher catch rate down to the 1% by doing dps while it's up. Would kind of go both ways.

Really the quick clear people isn't the problem. Yes they will complain, but they could play differently to go peak at what is there first. The Rare beastiary mobs are an issue, and having a way to stop your minions from killing them off matters more as minions are a playstyle that you really can't control besides the. we are going in this general direction.

Simple idea might be could we code in a hotkey that will stop our minions from attacking. Making them literal meat shields that do no damage. Being able to toggle that mode would give us a way to stop minions killing, and have a chance to throw the net and let our minions go crazy after that. That being said, simple idea, probably not easy to code.
To all those telling people to adapt their playstyle to the mechanic - there are a lot of builds where that isn't possible. Totem, bleed, summoner. you're basically saying "if you want to play X build then stay in standard."

I am playing HC and I was having the time of my life. There was actually some hard content to stop by and deal with. I don't they have internal numbers that probably show a precipitous drop in play compared to previous leagues and are acting on it.

They have to - that the best part about F2P - instant feedback and financial rewards if they are right - financial hurt if they are doing it wrong. So what you get is a responsive development team. And like I said not based on whining but hard numbers.
