So you put in more time than others (or were flipping items). Woopdeedoo. What a great excuse to justify empty maps from now on forward.

When you reach the soft cap in levelling 95 you will accumulate bulk currencies. I didn't flip unless you consider making 10 Pure 6Ls via jewellers and fusings 2-3 were cheap about 40c total investment, most took around 300 jewellers 400 fuse, my first one took me 500 jewellers 1.2k fusings.

If you know what the meta is then you can sell certain items based around that. Abyss jewels were almost required out of all elemental builds 40-90c per jewel easy income. There are MANY ways to accumulate wealth outside of selling sextants. Lab enchants all league long are profitable. Selling 6Ls up untill 2 months in is profitable. Shaper sword/Flask profitable all league long, Uber atizir Axe/Glove profitable all league long. Do you play like 3-4 hours a day picking up every single item only to just ID these items then vendor? spend 5-10mins to clear every single map and not under 3mins?.

IMO, at least 98% players don't rush maps like that or know where or how to farm efficiently, don't have deep knowledge of meta and items in general that are worth money, will never farm Uber Atziri or Shaper or (to less degree) Uber lab or certain unique maps, will not craft because of lack of currency and huge RNG factor where its much safer to buy 6L than to craft etc, etc. Just getting 40 challenges done is a wet dream for huge majority of players. Why take something away that everyone could get with relative ease and take it to end game? Wanna screw up power player? Go ahead, I bet it wont affect them in any meaningful way but let casuals have some other way of playing game beside totems.

The funniest thing to me is if you look at all the previous comments, all the people with 40 challlenges dislike the changes yet all the people with 10 chal love them. Funny how that works huh? Its a complete joke, and lets be honest here....the CORE part of POE is MAPPING. Nobody plays this game for the act content, they rush through the acts ASAP to get to maps...so what do you do? You completely nerf the crap out of the game for efficient players just because players that arent as efficient complained over and over again that they couldn't get there items.....well isnt that the point? YOU should be rewarded with efficient mapping and having knowledge of the game. THERE SHOULD BE A BIG GAP between the currency amount of players who put time and effort into a game the correct way compared to players who are new or are just not efficient. I hope we see some buffs in the patch notes because for the longstanding experienced players who like to map extremely efficiently, this is a huge let down.
Adam Gross
won't even consider playing gaystiary league with these changes...

bye bye poe, R.I.P.

Getting 40 for me is something to do after I have reached 95, after "I" consider my build is geared enough.

I like these changes, It doesn't effect me what so ever. Sextant block/Max limit still won't change anything to do with sextants they will get used even more than before why you ask? well like before when maps were empty people will now spend more money on "sextants" to roll the ideal mods on them this in turn results on more sextants being needed.

Those same casual people who were selling sextants will still sell sextants, those who ran them will still run them. Those who bought bisco's will still buy sextants nothing has changed at all.

Those who push for 40 after 12,24,36 will still do so for the enjoyment of being an look I have 40 before anyone else or wow this league my goal of reaching 40 I feel accomplished.

Nothing really has changed with these additional changes the only change for most people to swallow is no breach zana mod.

What? at least 98% you mean at least 60% of players who exactly what I do... Who are these 98%? many people have a 6L on their build, Many people craft 6 Link items, Many people don't just sell fusings. Many people Farm effectively aswell as have access to game knowledge that is provided by streamers, community members, general over time game play knowledge. Unless this is your first ever league the knowledge you learnt in the last league will carry over into the new league because of experience.
The 3 month leagues die off after 2 and half months generally those casuals you speak off play a long time then.
Won't be playing this league

I just disagree that the people that exploit map block will not use sextants as agressively as now: since the whole idea of the exploit is to garantee the good mods, making it prone to rng as was always intended will surely result in they being much less atractive, since the number of sextant required to achieve the same results will increase, it will likely result in many people not willing to buy then as the return for the investment is quite uncertain(unless they purge the available mods to something like it was when they first showed)
I think it may affect players on both sides in a somewhat diferent way the comments here claim: The ones who uses them will still use them, but will not buy them as agressively or at all... likely they will use them more sparingly with only the self-found sextants with maybe the really rich players still buying them and sextant usage moving to a more similar place to crafting(as in: something with good results but only if you have a considerable initial amount of currency)
As for the players that currently sells them, i think some of them may start to use them... Because the price will inevitably fall and the time that they will take to sell and be converted to currency will prob increase considerably, it may drive some players to decide they are not really worth selling anymore and start using them

I guess its the reasoning behind the changes, i mean if the intend was to just remove the exploit, GGG could just go for the nuclear option and remove the mod block on other maps in the sextant influence
A lot of players have seem to already forgotten the fact this league we also get a t16 map pior the best t16 xp was Mino now you can make for example a t16 strand map and run x4 white sextants all the time as an example
well guess lets skip this league, you guys dont even know what your community wants.
but hey, atleast some guys bought supporter packs right ? :D :D :D
