When the acendancies were announced everyone cried stop the powercreep, as soon as the slightest nerfs are announced everyone's crying about the skies falling.
The thing with map density though. GGG can't balance around fully sextanted maps which always roll extra density. Now that sextant blocking has been nerfed, they can actually get an idea of how much the density should be improved, so I'm hopeful. |

" That's an excellent point actually. |

Oni-Goroshi Charans Sword. Well, this sword was pretty much the only way to have fun in the last league for me, I went and played a little toward end of league with a standard character, it takes so long to get any amount of damage that you literally have to scrape together a bunch of low end currency and just buy it, I'm a supporter, yeah I paid money to play. I don't have 12 hours to devote to maps every day, but I can spare a few hours for a weapon on some weekends when I don't have my kids. Your leagues are 3 months, and you implement changes that are pretty drastic. You are going to slowly frankenstein the game. Careful with your next league, it could be the last.
Playtime for oni in 3.1 averaged 2 hours per 1. 3 hours per 3. I gave 1 away, sold one for 50 chaos and bought a tabula. My current standard character with about 8 hours playtime is level 38. and only does 1k damage with a tabula from breach league time lol. without the leftovers form a previous league he does 400 damage. dies to everything, has terrible RNG and has found 2 chaos. Nerfing the oni drop rate doesn't fix anything, the sword was already pretty trash anyways, no shield, no 2nd weapon. one handed melee weapon damage, sword and axe damage, sword damage. (no shield damage, no dual wield damage) also when you get up in the levels it produces about 600degen/second with blood rage which is meta. so you need to pack some life steal baby, or i had like every health regen node in the south, west, southwest region of the skill tree, + strenght build around 800 with meginords... sue me. If i was a player who could devote 12 hour days to this game I wouldn't bitch. Sadly I'm a casual. sue me. Last edited by Archadria#3122 on Feb 27, 2018, 8:25:10 PM

I don't even understand the rational of the sextant change.
They changed it because high end players were "abusing" something that had been intentionally created to do the thing they were "abusing" ...by making it so you can only reach the 5 sextant cap by being a high end player. Genius. |

" u have no fckin clue mate... as i thought... the sextants already dropped by 50% in prices and the league isnt out yet... and when you did not sextant blocked, 40-50% of your income came from selling sextants... what u maybe dont realize... which means your income is already reduced by 20-25%... and the sextants prices could maybe get down any further... all ppl are cried about sextant blocking and other ppl made so much currency get f... right in the ass... hope you "he is a sextant abuser-whiners" are happy now... u will be even more broke next league... be happy Last edited by Patte505#0803 on Feb 27, 2018, 8:52:21 PM

Wish GGG understood the basic principles of Calculus... that you maximize something by making small changes until you no longer notice the effects of a change.
These changes are too drastic for me to even process. It's a whole new game as far as I can tell, with only a few objects and mechanics left from it's predecessor. Hope it works. |

" Aparently some people are not quite aware about what is the drop rate of sextants... |

Well they "balance" PoE around 1% or maybe 2% power players that rape and abuse this game and in process end up "raping and abusing" the rest of casual/normal players.
Maybe they should rename this game into "Path of Flipping" since that's only way to gear up. So if you are playing next league and want certain item just keep flipping currency. Much faster, safer and easier than to farm. |

Skip league.
