well, poe is about mapping and they are nerfing mapping.

Mapping in poe isnt that great to be honest, sometimes and very often i feel bored to run over and over the same few maps.

Now they removed sextants... mapping experience that isnt that great already it's going to be even more shit and boring.

I can't see any reason of this being something good in any way.

Do you realize how incredibly ridiculous your post sounds??

1) I feel bored running same few maps over and over.
2) Now that they've nerfed sextants, I can no longer run my same few maps over and over so i'm pissed off.

Wait. What?
That, that is, is. That, that is not, is not. Is that it? It is.
When are the patch notes coming out?

I can't shake the feeling that the Bisco nerf isn't because Biscos is that good of an item, but because a lot of people convinced themselves that it's that good of an item. So knowing that a chunk of players are pigeonholing themselves into one amulet it then gets nerfed again to get 'em out of that line of thinking. I could be wrong, though.

Also all these comments and hostile attitudes towards that amulet (like the comment above mine). Wtf?

It is very good in certain situations. To be fair to GGG, they have to balance Bisco's for normal gameplay and also for sextant blocked maps with Zana breach and everything else going on. The problem is they nerfed sextant blocking, removed Zana breach, AND nerfed Bisco's Collar, so it is getting hit from all angles this patch.

I think you are spot on about the nerf having as much (or more) to do about player perception as actual effects of the item. I don't think Bisco's would be seen as so incredibly mandatory by some when the things that make it very powerful are also removed or scaled back. When I agreed to the final item stats I was told those were balanced numbers. Now those same stats are considered unbalanced and needing a nerf, and I doubt GGG's balance team just forgot how to do math when Bisco's Collar was first introduced...

As for the hostile attitudes, I have also gotten it directly from players in game following the release of the nerf info. The hostility towards the mere existence of Bisco's Collar is the primary reason I held off of claiming credit as the creator for a very long time.

The way i see it, it is only good because most people just skip the boss. You dont need all pieces of gear to one-shot the trash mobs, and since the boss is pretty much the only thing that really treatens most builds and amulets are often just another source of defense(esp for non-crit builds), its easy to forfeit the amy slot. You often dont hurt your clear speed as you one-shot trash and melt yellows anyway and you dont need the extra defence if you enter the map intending to skip the boss
I seem to recall once upon a time when the sky was going to fall because a decision was made to take Quantity off of rings, boots, gloves etc etc and heck to even lay waste to the beloved Increased Quantity Gem. Yes a great many were quitting over those "horrible" GGG choice's. And yet here you are claiming the sky is falling yet again.

The game will continue on. Some of you may leave. Most of you will stay.

It was unintended to have blocking be as it was. C'mon you Had to of seen this coming? We had some fun with it longer then I'm sure even you thought it would go on for. Now put on your big boy pants, suck it up, adapt and overcome.

Everything will work out guys and gals. Now give me a big hug I got something I have to tell you. "Its not your fault" noooo don't pull away you need to hear this! "Its not your fault" I know I know you want your sextants shhhh you need to hear this "Its not your fault"

There. Now when you don't respond to this ill know that you took off to marry some chick in Denver or some shit and that everything is gonna be ok.

You're welcome.

Meh... the doomcrowd is ever present every time a game decides to make any meaningful change. and i said "a" game cause it definetly dont happens only on poe: every game sees it on every patch that changes something more than a few minor numbers

And its still way better than what happens on D3: people there complain that nothing ever changes: and it sucks extra because they are actually right, so the doomcrowd here its not so bad-relatively speaking
I truly do not understand all of the crying about the Oni-Goroshi nerf. The time it takes to farm Oni before nerf, you could have reached a minimum of level 30. And it wasn't necessary to level before it was brought into the game, so why is it so necessary now?
Yes thank you! Not really bothered about Oni Goroshi, as there was like 9 million of them in poe trade anyway.

All the other changes are awesome you beautiful beautiful people
