but WTF going on with Oni :/ It was random as fuck to get anyway. I got first one after roughly 4 hours but the second one took me like 7 hours+. I guess now it will be 10 hours+ at least. Wow held off since Oni-Goroshi's release to do it as a league starter and ofcourse I'll have to go through some bullshit RNG to get it now(even more so than before which took my friend 8 hours of solid farm to get) never mind the fact that you guys already nerfed leveling with it by making the slayer ascendancy for over leech as the 4th node from where it was as the 2nd node and moved the can't be stunned while leeching to some bullshit node no one will ever take, thanks.
Thanks for making Zana easier, find it funny how I can get to 36 challenges in a league and she is still level 5, guessing you guys didn't lower her XP enough but we'll have to see. Sextant blocking was one of those things I've never used in the game but thought was amazing, really well thought out, and I gave a lot of respect to people who properly blocked their atlas and were rewarded for their effort and game knowledge. Excellent work! A really positive set of changes here, looking forward to the full patch notes. Some serious tears splashing all over this thread but I'm sure they will get over it with time. Breach wasn't going to stay forever and Bisco's is still strong, deep breaths people, deep breaths.

That is actually pretty elitist of you. It also shows you are unable to "think different" (See paragraph quoted below) " Quite a few people enjoy ARPGs because there is the possibility to minmax, to push your character further and further. If you like being stuck in T5 maps for 3 months that is ok, you do what you like to do. But don't impose your views on others. The only ones I see on their high horse btw is those being so unbelievably smug and arrogant about the nerfs because they assume the playing field is actually being levelled. In a couple of weeks they will all run to the the forums again complaining about this or that new strategy the elite players are "abusing", which makes them a lot richer than those who play casually. P.S.: I keep reading about doing chaos recipe as if that was a good method to make currency as a casual. It just shows that a lot of those who complain are unable to actually do some simple math for themselves to make their playtime more efficient. The time all you people spend picking up bad base items, hoarding them, sorting them would be much better spent just opening up the next map and dropping that chaos during the time you spend killing monsters. |

Plot twist: Oni was obviously made as a bot-detector unique but due to glitch in the matrix too many real people farmed for it. This change finally fixes that! Now only bots will be farming Oni.

Very happy about these changes. Especially about leveling zana to 8.
Not really sure why Oni needed to be RNG'ified. Apprently we are not allowed to have certain things to happen. Sextant's are still bad and will most likly still ignore them. | |
It's like the more casual people don't realize the impact of these changes at all...
No breach? all breach items sought after, like Xophs neck, will skyrocket in price and STAY that way all throughout the league, also divi cards will go up as breach was the single best divi card farming tool Bisco? less currency on the market = higher prices Sextants? they will drop price, so people not using them won't make a buck out of selling them. less drops and mapdrops with ineffective sextanting = maps will be more expensive also add, that we lose Abyss, with loads of extra mobs throughout the maps and new league that doesn't help map density... is that REALLY what you wanted? everything you won't be able to farm yourselves will be alot more expensive to buy now, meanwhile you will struggle to farm anything, since we will have alot less mobs on maps, map sustain will be loads worse than in Abyss... doesn't sound much like fun to me tbh. GGG should have the balls to change sextants to work similar to leaguestones, remove the shit ones and just adjust base density on maps and also probably boost Breaches to 20% otherwise there won't be much fun in the game anymore... |

I can live with these changes. Maybe the Oni change is a bit clunky, better to just move it to a higher tier map instead IMO.

First and foremost I am happy with these changes.
Sextants needed to happen however the price to invest was always weighed by the bad rolls spend X amount on map sometimes 20c sometimes just to get the same amount of density we gained in Legacy league. I hope this league you will bring back league stones for zana 8. I've heard that if you were to bring back league stone they would be blue. This would be great for density ontop of the max amount of sextants you can run. I could see people paying 10c for league stones as zana 8 map mod running a map has a 50% chance to drop and all drops are blue. You can decide on what league stones you want to drop: beyond,Rampage,Strongboxes,Exiles,Onslaught,Essence,Tempest,Domination,Bloodlines. Every league is breach, if not breach its nemesis so adding these will too much of the same feel. To have league-stones feel great allow you to run them in any map but once you run out you are forced to pay to enjoy this luxury. |
