Revamped Ascendancy Class Reveal: Gladiator
They moved Bleedsplosions for the same reason they moved SupahCull - nobody ever bothered with the objectively worse abilities located behind that 2-pointer. If you want the super-awesome abilities of either class now, you need to pick what you're willing to give up. Ascendancy classes working as intended (now).

I'm assuming they mean it is now 4 points to acquire instead of 2? Cause the bleed received a more multiplier if you do attempt to utilize it

As a Gladi "main" since ascendencies came out i think i can life with those changes.
The change for Gratitous Violence is understandable, even though i'm a bit sad about it. The more bleed damage it provides is neat tho. Painforged is a little bit more interesting now. Violent Retaliation looks way stronger now, the max block is neat, but as i always play dw it might be hard to cap block in general situations. The increase of the timeframe from 4 to 10 seconds is very nice and i'm kinda happy they removed the ms part, as it felt kinda laggy sometimes if you fought against masses. The block gain looks nice, but masses could be kinda ignored before and against bosses you want to be capped without the need to take hits (thats why i don't love painforged^^). Outmatch and Outlast looks kinda bland now, especially because it only provides charges on kill, so i will proably just skip it from now on. Blood in the eye looks nice and i think the blind is neat, but i would have prefered if they kept the general damage reduction instead ,as gladiator you already avoid a lot of hits (and well, blind works against getting hit or blocking, so against your other nodes), so it was better to reduce the damage of the hits you do take. As to make it more manageable. The Bestiary league proved once and for all, that GGG only listens to crying instead of well thought out criticism.

Violent retaliation is pretty spectacular now. It was nice before (especially in very monster-dense scenarios like breaches and abysses) but now it's downright awesome.
RIP bleedsplosion, but free maim and blind are always welcome. |

This is a fantastic rework and I'm a gladiator lover!! They removed the bleeding completely from the Assassin and buffed it here, so you can specialize if you want !! So, 2 choices now !! Go full bleed - frenzies etc and get some block, or go FULL BLOCK and get maim, etc. If the explosions mean that much to a full block builds, you can easily use hemophilia ;) "Wealth in a game is measured by the amount of fun, joy and entertainment you can get out of it".

Haemophilia here we go,you can skip the 4 points and get everything else. If you push,you can make a damn tough build. Im really interested in this ascendancy now. Overall i personally consider this a buff,though the "counterattack" part might need some testing.
