Announcing Path of Exile: Bestiary League

Who is ProjectPT? Saw that in another reply, ive only taken a handfull of characters to 90-97, dont play that heavily, not sure who the PT guy is.

I dont think any of what im saying is that crazy, this update is basically split into 2 groups, group A is thrilled and loves it and group B hates it and thats ok.

All im saying is I play path of exile atm for a reason, I am sick of being an elf or a dwarf or catching pokemon or shooting someone in the face from behind a rock. I dont understand why they are trying so hard to copy other games, people come here for a reason.

So I guess next league is going to be a first person shooter, and you can get supporter pack MTXs that look like overwatch outfits?

Meh, Berserker = rip on no regen maps...

They shoud've make Rage stack to 20 instead of 50, and remove life degen.

But it's just same old shit.

So since the very nice and pretty video really didn't get this information to me:

- How much admin needs to be spent on the menagerie and is there a limit to how many monsters you can keep which you have to things to increase? Does this attach to the hideout or somewhere else?

- How many monsters can we catch at once/per portal in a map. If its catch 1 and run back to hideout then nice map sync, pain in the ass to actually play.

- Do we have to manage the menagerie ourselves or is it capture and ignore until you want to sacrifice them for the benefits? Am I going to be spending even more of my time away from grinding to play Zoo keeper here?

- Do you intend to enable some sort of hunting mode so we don't have to tank hits in order to find the monsters that we need for (Annoying Craft Number 3) because otherwise we'd have killed them long before we even can throw the net and have the conscious thought "I should catch that to do this craft".

- Are there any artificial limits imposed here that gates the content - levelling stuff, space given/allowed, tiers of crafts etc. If these aren't achieveable via actually playing the *real* POE then this is just going to discourage people to carry on doing it - look at masters and the amount they get bitched about.

Nice pretty video. I hope for once the coding and mechanics actually hold up to anywhere near the same standard...

As fa as the league goes, i won't be playing it. Childish pokemon capturing is not of any interest to me and it seems too gimmicky and time consuming. I'd much rather prefer a league like Breach which was very simplistic but amazingly fun and decently rewarding. Every time you see a breach, you get a smile on your face. Dunno who the target audience of this league is... ppl that wanna sacrifice animals lol? Furries and pokemon kids? Meeeeeeeh, bring in some hardcore stuff like invasion or nemesis or something... Savage monsters and stuff. Who can be bothered to "hunt animals" and then "craft" /yawn. It's like you make a league out of what seems to be popular atm, but with a delay cos pokemon was popular a year ago or smth. Just make path of exile-ish stuff guys.

But Seriously, RSPCA and the Greens will have something to say about the unnecessary violent slaughter of animals in the 'Gotta Catch them all' League.

This League, Pokemon.
Next League, Ingress League.
Following league, Mobile League, use your mobile to go different landmarks to kill Unique monsters, make yourself look like a fool, and maybe get arrested for trespass.
