Watch Path of Exile live and win a Helmet Skin with Twitch Drops!
I'm almost certain by this point that there's going to be some technical error involving Twitch or Steam account linking that's causing people to not get registered properly.
There's going to be a bunch of poor bastards like me who will watch from now until the end and never receive a hat. Poor idea for a promotional event. |

20h and nothing

Why can't i support the twitch community without joining it? It's seems very stupid for me. Simple registration on their site would be good enough.

" It would make people unhappy when they get their reward early cause they would have less rarity ;) |

Many hours and nothing, glad I don't have a datacap!
Since there's only 1 drop, this may have gone better if it was "watch for 1 hour, get your loot". It would have turned people on to checking out a twitch stream, been a great opportunity for streamers to really showcase why people should follow them (catch their attention in an hour span instead of a chatroom full of minimized users), and been a win all around. I'd rather be playing than watching someone else personally, but for this, a minimized muted window is what Twitch gets out of me. I hope if there are future events like this, the process is revised! |

" i know. this would at least be: a) new b) for the player, nothing vested nothing gained. When's the last time someone complained about getting a prize too quickly?!? lol and then the entire "this is free stop whinging" would actually apply. ok i posted something! Can i login to the game now??

" You will get your mystery box after the event is over. Just like in Turmoil. Last edited by Guilty1#0553 on Nov 30, 2017, 11:12:52 AM

I think one of the problems is that streamers have to choose "Path of Exile" as the game they're streaming. So if you just watch a streamer's channel and they're streaming someone else, it means they're not playing PoE and therefore did not select PoE. So all of that time is wasted.
Only solution I see: switch to someone else's channel directly that has "Path of Exile" selected as their game under the stream name, and you'll get rolls every 5 minutes. Don't sit on a stream that's streaming someone else's channel. I think I wasted 24 hours of sitting on Ziggy's stream that's streaming other people. So not getting the rolls. I switched to sitting on Zizaran's stream since he plays PoE frequently and has that game selected for his stream. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

" That means (assuming the hat drop rate is 1% and not lower) that after 3.5days of watching a stream, I'd likely get a hat. How many adds do twitch play in 3.5 days? Fishy I'd rather play those 80+ hours for a MTX, the game needs online people (=players), not some weird events and a more than dead league since end of october. Seems WEIRD than not even GGG white knights are defending the event and hundreds of viewers are complaining here, on reddit, etc. |
