Can you please fix Volley so it doesn't look like a 15-year-old made it in a map editor? Don't you care about aesthetics or logic any more?

Does magma orb count as a targeted aoe that works with spell cascade?
Imagine volley + magma orb = 5 balls row, then cascade = 15 balls madness?? :D "Players can now smack around players who are having trouble very early on."

Are these some hatebots or are there really many people who consider melee skills to be in a bad spot? :D

I don't know what the problem with melee is. It always was strong, it still is extremely strong.
You have leech and always fortify, you have ascendancy choices (most of them extremely overlooked cause BERZERKAH, e.g. Champion, Gladiator or Juggernaut). You have (mostly affordable) unique weapons on almost any weapon class which allow you to clear endgame. Melee sure isn't the best option in the game right now, but whoever wants to just crush through content with it, is able to do so (just not with every skill, which I find sad, too, but there still is no reason to be as whiny as most people here are). I agree to some extent that it should get some love. But there still are no Patch notes out, so it is by far too early to start judging the way you people do it. |

" ive been playing melee since .9.2whatever, the only melee skill i havent made a lvl90+ char is viper strike and after experiencing spell builds in last 2 patches i can say: melee is uncompetetive on each and evey level while Sunder is bonkers it is just nothing when compared to stuff like Frostbolt/Freezing Pulse + free GMP threshold jewels. then there is the survivability problem - reason why Ancestral Warchief is so popular. sure, the entry level is easy - there is 1c unique for each slot, baseline survivability is pretty ok but once you try to maximize all three: clear, survivability, single target you just cannot beat wanders, archers or spellcasters melee might have been 'strong'. problem is that in current state 'strong' is the lowest possible level of strength btw - there are no patch notes - but you can check new supports and compare them to Ancestral Whatever. and draw your own conclusions. is the gimmick +2 targets comparable to +screen support gems like Cascade? |

Path of exile become path of zombie? All unhuman. I hate zombies i love human. Melee build is dead, slow, poor aoe, dps, range, risky, all caster already at lvl 100 and your lvl 75. Thats the big difference! Your only luck on gear is to find better rare no uniques suitable on melee build.

Melee players just need a skill that 1 hit 2 screens away, thats why they love being melee

"I just can't find much logic in words of ppl who on one hand whine about melee having slow clearspeed compared to rangers and casters and on another complain, that BF is not ethically melee skill. Yea, game went into overkill damage sanic clearspeed meta, but that's just rangers and casters who are too strong. Melee skills kinda specified for either clear speed(term est flicker, cyclone) or for insane boss dmg(zerker or ascendant BF). Wander got to have a few mirror worth of gear to compete with decent BF char's single target damage. Vaal Pact is dead, long live Vaal Pact!
