Black Friday through to Cyber Monday Weekend Sale!

you haven´t earned my money for that event. respect your playerbase
My points left me
Wise words buff -> balance <- nerf , need to happen , deal with it
Is there a list somewhere of stuff that went onto sale already? Wonder if I already missed the stuff I wanted because I sometimes need to sleep.
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

TFW you realize a Black Friday armor set is ONLY $20 for an HOUR. HYPE :O
What a deal guys! Is GGG feeling generous or what?
I had to step back and reevaluate MTX when they started this weekend sale.
that armor set's regular price is $48
wings can be as high as $39
there's a lightning scorpion pet for $110
blue cyclone / blue incinerate for $1.50, this one's ok
don't get me wrong, I understand MTX is a means of supporting a (f2p)game i like to play, and I was fine with investing in QoL stash tabs(currency tab seems like a no-brainer auto-include-- it's behind a paywall, I'll bite) but after loot boxes and after seeing these flash sales I can't help but feel a bit disgusted. Not bitter about the money I've spent, just saying i'm done with mtx now
i guess these 80% discounts are just for useless shit such as hideout decorations since right now everything else which is somewhat desired is right now only up to 50% max and well that hourly shit with sometimes just 1 stupid item on sale is just garbage and if i remember right you had this kind of hourly sale in the past so whats so fucking new about that thing that u have to say something that has never be done before ...

Whilst I understand the sales psychology of placing a small amount of items for sale for an hour, therefore instilling a sense of buyer urgency in the consumer, this sale method is making me not want to spend points.

Some of us work and have family / real life commitments which prevents us from checking the store every hour or responding to email notifications letting us know when a wanted item is reduced. GGG, please consider dropping this sales method in the future and just reduce everything you wish to reduce at once - it really would, in my opinion, encourage people to spend more rather than being put off with the hassle of checking every hour.

There is a way to get around that problem (not sure if they're actually doing it, tho). Since the offers are being repeated, they just need to alter the order of them so that one of the times for each item on sale occurs during waking hours for the players across the world (or, to make it more manageable, just the regions that comprise the majority of their playerbase). This doesn't require balancing across all timezones (for each 1-hr timezone increment), provided you do it regionally i.e. offset the time by a large period, such as the second time being 6-12 hours different from the first. That'd reduce the amount of micro-scheduling involved and hence make such an exercise doable.
The manipulation involved here is rather unfortunate, but there's a simple way around such concerns - simply publish the schedule of sales (don't even need to mention how much the discount on each will be) in the post. That'd help players, but also the company since people will still be buying things. Keeping it cryptic like this and forcing people to check the site every hour only pisses folks off.
