I call bullshit on the, there is no male female armour. Poe may have a steam punk esk style to it but id hardly call it realistic.. as i pointed out earlier the moment you have demons/monsters etc in a game you can through out that realistic bullshit XD

Aye, if you have demons in the game suddenly anything goes, everyone's flying because gravity has taken a day off and you can break down castle gates with a ram made of boiled noodles because why not. The best of fantasy settings are those that provide the most plausible explanations, otherwise nobody would bother explaining why only Jedi and a few rare individuals can use lightsabers effectively.

Well, maybe you don't understand just how clunky their engine can be. You like that new water effect in 3.0? Sure, looks really good but the main reason they did it was because creating water tiles previously took ages even though it looks simple enough.

Anyway, I hope you now at least understand what you're asking for and why it might not happen. You can, of course, continue asking but it should spare you the worst of the disappointment.

I asked once - this is my first ever thread post and last i checked i didnt demand anything rite now did i?

I made a suggestion and gave feedback because this is the thread to do so and if/when it happens is less of a concern to me than them knowing it should happen.
GGG are doing their best and if their engine sucks and makes things hard then they will need to work on it to allow changes like this to be made.. i mean we are all hoping the game will progress rite? cant imagine people sticking around if the games exactly the same in 2years.
I imagine there will be many changes happening in that time frame and if they can make some of the armour better along the way that be great.

It be nice if people would expand on this thread, what types of armour would you like to see?
is there anything you guys feel could be improved on?
do you all feel that all the classes meet their Atheistic Fantasy?

Sure, changes are happening but at their own pace, which can sometimes be... eh, somewhat languid? Even more so with visual improvements, hell, we had that placeholder minimap since forever, it took a while for shiny metal textures to arrive which seems as simple as it gets, cloth physics were a relatively recent acquisition too. Helmet models are easier to fit so we got those at some point for all three gear tiers but I won't hold my breath for body armor as long as the process is this cumbersome.

I expect they will streamline the skinning method at some point because it will enable them to push out microtransactions at higher quality and at a faster pace. So, if anything, you're too early with this suggestion, once the system is in place the only obstacle is whether it aligns with their vision of the game aesthetics or not.

Pretty much, the game has magetechy elements galore. Hell, it has more lightning coils and plasma globes than the Tesla museum, but it had a distinct shortage of well-groomed lady knights in cleavage armor and high heel combat boots, last time I checked.

I mean, it's their call, if devs want this in the game so be it, but they haven't shown considerable affinity to it so far.

we playing the same game? they have a lot of variation when it comes to the micro transaction armour and tho steam punk is a key factor in its initial concept but if you have noticed the base armour is not tied to any theme nor is the micro transactions.

People need to stop saying things dont fit because there is already a lot of inconsistencies when it comes down to theme and i think the devs are fully aware of the fact they need to branch out.

With the mtx showed, the character is fully protected.
With the armor he seems to want, the upper chest is completely open to attacks. Cloth is kind of acceptable because it provides ES (magic) protection, but armour doesn't. What's the purpose of heavy armour if it's not to physically protect you?
You made your character very easily killable to make her pretty. And I didn't even talk about the shoes.

Of course all of this is my point of view, but I like the way things are.

Sure there's a theme, several in fact.
- Postapocalyptic junkyard theme (anything scrappy)
- Eternal empire theme (anything that looks Roman and decadent)
- Thaumaturgical steampunk theme (anything techy with a lot of lightning, capacitors and tubes)
- Karui/Azmeri theme (the noble savage in his natural habitat, anything tribal)
- Vaal theme (pyramids, sun dials, prophecies, can you say quetzalcoatl five times fast?)
- Theocracy theme (the infamous 4th realm of the most pious of aryan)
- Maraketh theme (ramen, anime and everything else)

And none of those feature what he linked.

This is not a realistic game, you can already put the skin of a Sage's Robe on a 2000 armor chest with mtx skin transfer.

People can't be honest about this...The truth is that is about the women body, and in a game because of the morals you must hide the women body.

For GGG i believe is more for economical reason.
^ so, problem solved.

Get a sexy armor piece, and skin transfer it onto whatever armor u want.

Or, just vanishing dye the armor piece.

I don't care either way but to everyone talking about "theme" I'd like to point out Piety and Garukhan both have "female" outfits, so I don't see the issue with what some people want in this thread.
