Female armour!!!

Please, no.

One of the best things about this game is that it has realistic female characters, that don't look like bikini models in a world where everyone is struggling to survive and they're busy blowing up cannibals and zombies/crafting stuff/caring for the wounded.

Yes, I like to look at pretty women, and the ones in the game are pretty in a perfectly normal way, and dressed reasonably for what they do. Mage armour is light and looks like normal clothing, but a Scion with a strength-oriented build with heavy armour that doesn't cover the whole body would look utterly retarded. All three of the playable female classes just look normal and believable.

Just leave it be. If you want games with scantily-clad female characters, there's tons and tons of them, many with more detailed AAA graphics. The gritty atmosphere, no idealisation and very well-designed female characters is what makes PoE special.

Please go and read the entire thread XD tired of seeing this type of simple minded post - if you dont like change fine but this is a feedback suggestion thread and NO ONE has mentioned skimpy armour.. plenty people have agreed that yest the armour doesnt fit and could be better and thats the point.

If you dont like seeing females then fine XD you dont have to play them but you really cant say any of the females look as their model does with gear on? and how is it believable? im sure your trolling with that statement.. most of the fabric gear looks clunky or has no shape at all and realistically they would have... feel free to go try on every style of armour screen shot it with a female and male comparison and tell me im wrong.

The males and females look to similar which indicates they havent put in any effort in shaping the equipment to the models.

Very well designed females? thats a joke XD witch doesnt look like a witch at all, more like a scrawny skeleton with hair, ranger may aswell be a dude given the butch hair cut and only true female they made was scion.. clearly your eyes need a little check buddy because this game is far from well designed. In fact GGG has litreally cut corners in not making better models/ more maps/ better armour just to deliver what they ahve and making improvements is what this threads abouts.. I doubt if GGG decided to do anything in this thread you would complain because all it would do is grant you (and every other player) more options.

FOR THE LAST TIME - NO ONE IS TALKING SKIMPY - JUST ACCURATE/FITTED ARMOUR TO ALLOW THE FEMALE CHARACTERS TO STILL LOOK AS INTENDED "FEMALE"

doesnt need a rocket scientist to understand that but im sure we will see another silly post like this.

Now i havent played POE for too long but one major flaw i see is that the armour always looks super masculine.. Not sure about the rest of the community but seeing some curves couldn't hurt xD

Everything that's shown as a preview in shop - Male
Everything in game, Clunky and masculine!

Having Female attire would not only make the game more believable but would allow for a more aesthetically pleasing character.

that's sexist as fuck, if you want XXX in your games go play a hentai or something.
It's very good that games like PoE and Darksouls series have no sexist gear, armour is made to protect the body not to show off the female curves for your nerd-virgin pleasure, bro =/

WOW nerd virgin rage.. its okay dude we understand your need to let loose some steam when your hand hurts.

Please keep your vulgar thoughts to yourself. This is a discussion post - nothing to do with sex or sexualising the game.. although im pretty sure this is the closets uve gotten to any girl since your birth.

Well, they could have just as easily made three Scions, you know, and Scion looks like that because she's supposed to be a product of selective breeding or whatnot, perfect by design.

Women with less than ideal proportions are much more common than otherwise. Witch has a valid female bodytype and it's expected that all those sleepless nights spent stirring the cauldron would give her an unhealthy complexion. Given the lifestyle Ranger was leading I'd be frankly surprised if she had more fat than muscle, also screw Rambo, a tropical forest is no place for long hair.

I'm finding the female models perfectly believable for the setting, which is notably not a fashion week catwalk.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I'd enjoy some female robes though, which would not invalidate the realism the current plate armor's convey.

If were talking magic users i see no issue with leather and robe like outfits to be accommodating to females.
Then again i'm not talking about two strings with a leather flap strung between them kind of stuff.

Yeah, Shav looks really good on females, robes can be fitted nicely.

I'm a big fan of cloak of defiance, also because it's base armor type is a really nice looking robe on most female characters.

I decided to use MoM as a defense instead of lightning coil on some of my chars purely for the sweet looking visuals CoD gives a caster.

I love mage chars and i think for those cases nice robe mtx's could be fitting, without automatically resorting to overly sexist stuff.

Chained globe girls is all the sexist stuff i need in my PoE.

Though solaris is pretty nice now, she's got some bondage thing going on near my health globe.

I don't want this to turn into some kind of korean MMO. However, I think we could use some more robes/hooded robes armour pieces, or skirts even.

I would love if the bottom part of my character was a black/dark blue skirt/robe, instead of the usual heavy armor pads + boots. Not only it would bring out the feminine side, but also wouldn't be out of place of too "sexist".

did you try out the arcane armor+effect ? imO it looks really well for casters (atleast for lightnng or cold spells XD). The Totem is fine too.
Ofc the arcane set and the new wasteland set could look a bit more femal since it doesnt seem to be plate armor.

making leather(or rather eva gear) a bit more female could be awesome as long as the body is covered and the breast arent oversized.
Why do i insist on the "whole" body beeing covered? beacause everything else wouldnt make sense for a armor.

for es gear, i wwish it would look more like robes becasue the defense it ofer doest come for the material itself.
Play blade and Soul and you'll get all the female "armor" you'll ever need. :)

I'm glad the female armors look masculine here yet some armors look a bit feminine on females specially ES armors..(check Vis Mortis on a witch for example)..It doesn't look that bad or even check a Tabula Rasa.

The poses are feminine on some female characters like the Scion (most feminine pose out of other female characters, imo) and the witch and the ranger has the least feminine pose out of the female characters but so is her character actually.

They don't have to be curved like a Coca-Cola bottle or have Atziri's boobs to have the armor feminine enough.

I'm glad they didn't sexualize the armors and made them more realistic unlike most other games..This is one thing they did right, imo.

Also, your character is an exile who led a very hard life and has to fight horrors and disgusting monstrosities like the ones Piety made and such..Girl or guy, anyone wouldn't care at all about how they look in these circumstances but they'd certainly care about how protected and stronger they are so they can face those perils.

I mean in a creepy area with much blood and tentacle mobs as the act 3 Lunaris temple or belly of the beast, you don't really wanna leave any piece of your body uncovered..lol

The game is just so dark themed that I won't find sexualized unrealistic armor fitting for it..More feminine armor is sometimes unrealistic but can look nice yet I don't think it fits this game's theme in anyway.
IMO,it just wouldn't make things immersive.

It just reminds me of how realistic armors were in Skyrim and looked masculine even for females and then people modded some armor monstrosities with big cleavages and short skirts(on armors)..Not immersive and unrealistic, imo.

Armors are supposed to cover every part of your body whether its males' muscles or females' breasts..Armors have no gender but they have an objective and this objective is called "Protection"...Neither the female nor the male body shape is shown when armor covers body but only the armor's shape does.
