I had enough ex and lvl 8 masters to craft a +3 Chaos staff for your ED build (which was my league starter). About 60 regals into the staff crafting process, I landed +2 fire gems and just said F*** it, I'll keep going and make an SRS staff. So now I'm leveling another of your builds. Thanks. :) |

Spent the last two weeks running this hot mess of a build, its insanely slow and very bad, I wish I had the last two weeks of my life back...This build is complete trash, its biggest problem is not how comparatively weaker or slower it is to ANY OTHER BUILD but how you will be absolutely wasted by normal mobs if you don't move at a snails pace with every screen transition... even when you get max res and all your useless unique items you won't make it much deeper in the atlas without bosses taking eternity and dying out most your maps, save yourself the headaches & hassle and run ANYTHING other that this guys build.

This build has been used by tons of players including racers to lvl 100 Rank 1 Necromancer in hardcore leagues including SSF leagues. There is nothing wrong with the build what so ever. So if you wish, I will gladly help you get on the right path. And even if you don't want my help, don't come in to a thread and start trashtalking it when it has been proven to be among the strongest necromancer builds in the entire game so many times over as you are only giving false information to new players. Thanks for the guide, I finally took down Shaper today on my first try after farming guardians for awhile :) Onto Uber Atziri!
My current gear: A couple of notes specific to Abyss league: 1) The abyss jewels are incredibly powerful. 40+ flat life rolls on Abyss jewels seem to give you more health than 7% life jewels, and the increased minion damage rolls are higher than what you could roll before (with the caveat that you needed to have cast a minion spell, but we're SRS so that's a moot point). In addition, you have the possibility of rolling multiple other beneficial rolls, such as extra minion damage, minion attack speed, or increased cast speed if a minion has been killed recently (quite easy to do). I've abandoned a couple of the 4% life nodes in order to get more jewel slots due to this. Here are the jewels I'm running so far: I can probably optimize these jewels more but these are quite good as is. I can potentially squeeze in a few more jewel slots if I grind the last couple of levels. 2) Bisco's leash is great for mapping but pretty mediocre for bosses. You could just use a rare belt, but since it's very easy to get ele-weakness-capped on resistances I've decided to try something else this league: I'm still using Bisco's for mapping, but I'll usually hotswap the Abyss belt for bosses (especially guardians) or on more dangerous maps, as it gives ~400-500hp depending on jewel, and quite a bit of minion damage. I've found that this help boss fights quite a bit, as long as I remember to belt swap. " Hey, My pleasure bro, gratz on the Shaper kill! (Can change the belt for that specific fight for like Belt of the Deceiver for more damage if you wish). Abyssal Jewels are completely broken for any minion build atm. My build guides are created for every league and are therefor not specifically changed for each specific league, they are too many for me to keep up with otherwise! Oh and the Increased minion DMG when you've used a minion skill recently is the best mod you can get on the jewels, try to go for 19-20% rolls. Hello again
I'm level 81 now, doing some low-tier maps, and I've got a few more questions. 1) My current chaos resistance is -20%, and if I loose my current shield and switch to a 2-handed weapon, I'll drop to -40% chaos resistance...how can I fix that? 2) I'm not gonna pretend I know anything about the game, but have you ever considered Whispers of Doom? Being able to use two curses on enemies (Enfeeble and Elemental Weakness for example) sounds awesome. 3) For my very first (and cheap) +2 fire gems staff, which secondary stat should I prioritize? Hello, I am fairly new to POE. I have taken the Enki's Arc Witch to lvl 70 and now want to try a summoner.
I am tossing between this and Huy's OG Summon (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1992005). So far after reading I am slightly tilting toward this as I have already bought a Baron. Given I am new could you please provide some advice and give some pointers between the two builds. I like this one cos I have the Baron and it seems a bit simpler. I like the Huy one cos of the shield charge and only having to get one 6 link item. Any help picking one would be greatly appreciated. Pardon the delay in responses this round, I do my best to keep up! " Hey, 1) Chaos resistance is not something you need to worry about, I've been playing with -60% on my last character. 2) The Curse topic has been a frequent one since the release of the SRS gem. Dropping up-time of not having max SRS out on the field lowers your DPS in situations where the curse would be beneficial. Specially as those situations are generally bosses and bosses has a curse effect reduction mod making the curses do far less than what's expected. Even with curse effect increase nodes it's barely worth it and even then, other nodes or specifically jewels are worth more. 3) + lvl of gems > cast speed > resistances " Hey, Welcome in! iHuy has a pretty solid build, though I've been asked several times to compare them and honestly you can't. Before you get the 2H weapon for this build both build guides looks very similar. The problem with iHuy's build is that to be able to do the content he is displaying you need TONS of currency which this build does not require for that content. If you wish to stay with a 1h/shield you need high lvl gems such as 21/20 srs and/or Empower lvl 4 and that already brings the budget of the build to a new lvl. Then to be able to run Uber Atziri or Shaper with that you're gonna need +1 corrupted chest piece or a Skin of the Loyal which again pushes the budget way further than this build will ever do to be able to handle said content.
