[3.6 Video Guide] Beginner's Guide SRS Baron Life [HC/SC/Atziri/Uber Izaro/Shaper Viable]
" Correct, it is automatically being triggered so it doesn't have to be on your skillbar. <3 " Gearing stats depends on every piece what the priority should be on the next, which makes it very confusing. The stats you want to go for if I should try to elaborate it in short: * 75% all elemental resistances (or 109% if you wish to be elemental weakness map mod rolled immune, which means you still have 75% all elemental resistances when you are cursed by elemental weakness in the higher end-game tier maps) * As much Life & Strength as possible (strength also provides life) you can easily search for "life" in poe.trade and click the "total life: ##" grayed out text to list items from top to bottom with the highest life providing item in the top Basically once you got all your uniques the rare items are there to balance your resistance needs & life gain. So if you for example have a ton of fire resistance on several pieces, then obviously Fire Resistance drops in terms of priority for the rest of your pieces as you have a set ammount of resistance you're aiming for which increases the priority of Life & the other elements. My suggestion when gearing is to get all the unique pieces first then get all the big rare items no matter what build it is in this order: Chest > Amulet >Boots > Helmet > Gloves > Shield > Rings > Belt Reason for this is that Belt can roll an absurd ammount of life as well as an absurd ammount of resistance and still remain itself very cheap. So if you get most of your stuff sorted with the other pieces then finding a Belt to balance the remaining points out should be very easy & fairly cheap to do :) I hope my answer is sufficient! How the heck do you do vorici dailies with this build. I'm failing them all the time.

" Welcome to the world of doing Vorici quests as a summoner! Most of them will go to shit cause you can't do them. Try global 820 channel for master sharing rotations and let someone else do the ones you can't do with your build. VD has the same issue as well as a LONG list of other builds :D Guides: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ghazzy-guide-hub

Hey Ghazz, loving the build so far!! Im also a bit confused as to the linking, sockets and items. I see some other builds have linked the items they use with the gems inside to see how they have linked their items. Any chance there is something like that for us? Or maybe i havnt found it yet in this forum post :P Also new here and not sure i fully follow how to set up my gems into which items along with the links :)
Thanks in advance! |

I asked the same question about 3 pages before this one. He explains it decently. I had some confusion because i'm an idiot. But i'm sure others will get it. Take a look a few pages back where i post my reply.
Right now i seem to be dying more than anticipated. And not really sure if i should be using ball lightning or not?????? Some of the aura's i think i have questions too. The build says 2 but i think there are 3??? |

" Hey, Cheers! Reason I've excluded this is to further avoid confusion for newer players, but it seems that no matter how I do it it will always turn in to a problem due to the complex design this is done via PoE. The guide has included chrome calculation and information of how to socket things in your gear. The main reason I've chosen to avoid showing this is that if you have as an EXAMPLE now: 4 Red gems in a 4L item, then obviously the easiest way to hit this is to have an item with Strength based (usually armour) which will have that as the sole main color. However, you could also switch for hybrid items such as ES/Armour or Evasion/Armour as they will have a very high probability of hitting 4 red colors. This system is to be used when you decide the gem spots for your gear whilst the guide shows which gems needs to be linked to what or if they can be stand-alone sockets or not. So the problem reveals itself if I showed how I linked my items then a player buys full Energy Shield gear and then starts complaining about how hard it is to color the gear the way I've shown. Which is why I've decided to try to show the community how you're actually suppose to think as everyone does it differently. Not to mention the video linked in the guide as well showing you how to generate 4 off-colors, though still a bit more expensive but can still be done with Vorici benching jeweller strats. So what you need to do is check the gem section and see what & how you can have the layout then compare with items you want to purchase for your gearing, this way you can switch around as in some cases the best item you can afford or get for example your helmet slot might have very bad attribute requirements for the specific gems you wanted in there, by not showing you a setup where as a lot of people would look at it and think "it HAS to be this way" you instead will have to think and opt around and learn how it's done which will prove to be extremely useful for anyone playing this game :) It might sound annoying or messy but I firmly believe this is the best approach for my guides as it's a pretty important and big step for specially newer players to learn in the game. ---------------------- @302mustang: <3 Also, as mentioned before, if my answers are confusing more than providing knowledge, please, do tell so I can elaborate further. I don't mind explaining the same thing in a thousand different ways, the important part is for the person asking to understand and get his/her answer. :) Guides: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ghazzy-guide-hub

If we were to truly min-max, what would be our weapon of choice? 20% block staff with +3, multi craft, strength, cast speed and bm, right?
|
|
Right. Of course to get the *truly* best in slot staff, you would then annul the multimod suffix and slam attack speed or resistance.

Could anyone explain to me why we use those stats on weapons (from the previous two posts) instead of spell damage % or minion damage %? I'm not arguing I know what's better so please don't take it that way. I really don't understand weapon choices for this build and how it scales our damage and I haven't upgraded my wands since level 45.

Spell damage doesn't apply to our minions and minion damage is an essence only mod.
