might be a dumb question, but when i cast an aura (haste), my elemental resistance goes up 20% but i cant figure out why. could you tell me? is it a bug?

As the guide describes:

High lvl Clarity + Hatred on Generosity ===== 4L +2 Helmet or Baron with w/e wep & brightbeak AND using Necromantic Aegis

lvl 1 Clarity + Hatred on Generosity + Haste ===== 6L with BM craft or support gem AND removing Necromantic Aegis so you can get the Aura reservation nodes in the guide.

T16, yes.
Uber Atziri, yes but I wouldn't recommend it in hardcore.
Shaper, yes should be without problems just be careful with phase 3.

Commander of Darkness makes so that if you or anyone else is affected by any of your auras you'll get +20% resistances, this includes Clarity.

Hey Gazzy, new player here (month in) and your guide is really helping out!

3 questions:

1. How does the immortal call and cwdt work? I'm still not 100% on what's generating the endurance charges
2. When do I activate EE and begin using the ball lightning>gmp>coh>enfeeble combo? (Is based on level or socket availability?)
3. What is SRS damage based on? -- seems like a trivial question heh. Is it based off my physical damage? I've read they are 50% physical and 50% converted to fire, but where does that baseline starting number come from?

Says using stone golem and decoy for defense. I just started mapping but my golem is already too expensive to cast with hatred/haste/clarity up. Were you just running a lower level golem? or just turning off an aura every time to resummon?
Do you guys get Aura Area of Effect, Aura Effect and Sovereignty (upper left) passives to boost your auras?
Level 81, great build.

do you guys generally skip bosses? im struggling at t12+ with bosses, they usually kill me pretty quickly even with max resist and 6.6kHP. have full build as well. really hard for me to cast SRS while dodging boss shots

You can go defensive mode by putting SRS on a totem and using bone offering. I also pop Vaal Skellies in boss rooms to distract them. Also if you use MoM take off one aura to have like 1k extra "hp".

This is how I did uber lab and it was surprisingly easy.

Welcome in!
My pleasure :D

1) Endurance charges merely increases the duration, the base duration with 0 Endurance Charges is like 0.4 seconds, this is enough to keep you safe from porcupines & bone husks which can in bad situations instantly kill you without this setup.

2) Socket availability :)

3) I would recommend watching the "Generic Summoner Mechanic" video listed at the top of the thread. We have players who have played PoE for many years that still don't understand how summoners actually work. Summoners are the most complex genre of builds in this game specially as all other "Logics" is void when we are talking about minions.

To answer your question in short:
No, minions are seperate enteties which means they don't scale of anything that you have on your skilltree or gear, unless it specifically states that it will affect minions. (Exceptions are when you change the baseline stat providing rules such as the Keystone Necromantic Aegis which gives all your shields stats to your minions etc etc)

You'll have a higher ammount of mana when you get to higher lvls in which case he will also survive more reliably. Before that point he's a bit tedious and I generally ignore summoning him tbh.

We take those 6 points towards aura nodes to make us able to run Haste once we get a 6L weapon, the effect nodes are barely noticable for this build.

These are situations in which I would recommend using Decoy Totem over the Skellie version. Also, as of patch 3.0 bosses got stupidly buffed and I would only kill them once for the Atlas progression and skip them after that, many other top builds are doing the same time as it's simply not worth the time anymore.
