Im preatty sure that PoB doesnt account for "35% less dmg when triggered" property on Discharge. Any "Avg hit" calculated with PoB for Discharge being triggered must be multiplied by 0.65. So not "297x5 = 1.485m under perfect circumstances." but rather "(297*0.65*5) = 965k under perfect circumstances."
You can verify that the same way I did: import your current character into PoB (remember to remove Mjolner and add it again as theres another bug in PoB - after importing Mjolner character Mjolner property "100% increased spell dmg when triggered" will most likely disappear from total % of increased dmg in calculation screen for Discharge), now let it calculate your Discharge avg hit at your maximum charges for example with RF and EO up. Than go ingame and do yourself a screenshot of your Discharge tooltip at your maximum charges with RF and EO up. Most likely what PoB calculated will be much greater than your actual in game Discharge stat and most likely your PoB result when multiplied by 0.65 will be very close or equal to your in game stat.
Anyhow - by all means TFU is a better belt to use. Not only DMG wise but also QoL wise (Harbinger's aura for faster mapping). And it helps to reach that 4.5-4.7 aps sweet spot for cyclone.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure it is correct either but ill take your word for it. I just wanted to show that untethered is still the better option in all situations. I've been messing about with shadowplay as I wasn't able to upload quickly before as I was on dsl, but now I have moved and 100mb down 40mb up I should be able to make some small videos to show gameplay of how it runs. I'm still able to fit devotos/scolds, I'd just have to take a small hit to HP and switch a jewel to gain me around 15% more cold res but it will have to wait for one more level up as I now have str rolled on my rare helmet I dont have a free point to move to the 30 node to wear devotos/scolds.

I m discord about the flow untethered is the best belt in ALL SITUATIONS. Did you test 2 belt's (The deceiver and the flow) against Shapper and UBER atziri? If yes, u will know what i m talking about.
For sure, The flow untethered is better for MAP CLEAR.
And Devoto's devotion is the best HELMET in all situation.

I'm not going to argue here you can see the math, believe and play what you like. Devoto's is 20% move speed and some chaos res hardly a better choice than taking 350+ more life and space for res/str which means finishing the build 2-3 levels sooner and having more dps jewel options vs needing resistance.
Normal play of a hydra with inc aoe seems for t16 conc might be better for trash clearing would be 1 shotting instead of having to clear up so many left overs. Was lazy and didn't bother to switch warding flask back to 30% ms so a bit slower than I should be most of the time.
First of, let me say this buid is AMAZING!!!.
First time playing true discharger and i love it! Had a high level berserker so i respeced it. Can some with more knowledge take a look at my gear and tell me where to improve. I still miss the gems but they are expensive .
Also i got a question with resistances, i know i should aim for all 3 to be equal for The Wise Oak, but its gonna be hard, so i guess the next best thing is to try to level out cold and lightning right?
Also should i try to get more Attack Speed? been reading this thread a bit but still don't know how much to aim for.
How do you all get so much as? Im stuck at around 3.5 aps with cyclone according to pob. Is this just because I'm not using TFU or is it because i might be missing something in my calculations? I dont use jewels with as at the moment, but no one of you use those either as far as I checked profiles.

Gear requirements
Rare helmet with life cold res as required to cap you and str 40+. If you can only get cold res and no str or choose to wear devoto's you'll need to reach level 94 and take the 30str node next to EO.
One jewel with 5%+attack speed, 10str, cold res & all res to suit your capping requirements(ring slot will cover the rest) one jewel with 5% IAS. If your jewel has more or less attack speed add or remove levels from faster attacks or get a lower roll on flow untethered as it can range from 10% IAS-15% IAS. We will need to change the level of faster attacks to suit this.
As the build sits currently it is based around 5% on 2 jewels, 15% IAS untethered and 16/20 FA. This gives you 5 levels of play around the jewel and belt.
Optimal setup would be 1 jewel of 5% IAS 15% unthered and 20/20 FA
Wearing a 10% IAS unthered requires a 20/20 FA and 2 5% IAS jewels. If you had say 4% on a jewel you would have to get a 11% IAS unthered or 21/20 FA(20/23 FA also gives 1%).
As you can see with these images silver flask normal hit recieved we have 4.61 APS

Lower Faster Attacks to level 5/20%quality and everything remains the same you just lose 300+ life gain 20% move speed attack speed towards shield charging and some chaos res.
Juggle Faster attacks level around jewels and whatever IAS 10-15% your unthered is.
Edit: Both builds can be done 2 levels sooner if you drop the lower left endurance charge and get it back after 93 or 94.

Nope this is to run with purity of lightning and fire. For cursing use cwdt + elemental weakness or curse on hit elemental weakness vaal'd repentance gloves.

Devotos is a possible 16% IAS. If I used devotos, I would have to run level 1/20 faster attacks. I have 1 jewel with 5% the belt is 15%IAS and gem levels for Faster attacks(I'm on 17/20faster attacks) will bring it up and down as well as running a silver flask for 20%. Make sure you are ticking the have you been hit box and do you have onslaught or untick those 2 and tick have you been savage hit box in the path of building configuration.
