I felt the heartbound loop beeing too clunky to really play around, as I was rellying on block and life on block to survive.

But as you said, with spectres you only need a lvl 10 CWDT. Sad thing, you do need a high level desecrate to raise good spectres.

Did you knew that every linked gems to your zombies apply to the montegrul's explosion aswell ? Pretty fun to build around. Sadly, coulden't manage to make it really work.


PS : found a way to improve your build. Have you tried the wise oak & vessel of vinktar ?


I played around with Montegrul's that was what I originally started with. but after running many many maps, the Scourge was always smoother. Montegruuls created problems sometimes when the zombies chain kill everything leaving no corpses, and desecrate is on cd.

It is possible to run other flasks, I dont think vinktar is beneficial compared to ylfeban's. But the wise oak should provide additional fire pen and add a little extra damage.

If you could manage not to need your shield. Use Necromantic Aegis with Maligaro's Lens

10-20% max life. don't know how the 2% of your life would interact with CI, but I don't think it would matter. (could be great if you made this a life variant)

of course due to minion life on the tree, you may get more life out of a rare shield with high +life or another unique with high life (Path of Building tell me your ways)

Pretty sure that the order you have the gems in your helm means that Phase Run will get immediately overridden by the Convocation linked after it (except when it's on cooldown). If you could get green in the bottom left socket, or red in bottom left (for cwdt) and green in bottom right then it should work better.

Now combine this with Maligaro's Lens and Necromantic Aegis for additional regen. When each minion dies you regen 2% maximum life.

Energy shield maximum might be an issue.

as always, cool and original, as expected of dreamscyth.
(i also tried the zombie version myself and found it lacking, didn't know that lvl 10 minions have so much life, good catch!

If skeletons cannot be used with 3.0, what about using Raging Spirits?

- Relative short lifespan
- Quick to cast

With a base of 5 second lifespan we get that down to about 2 seconds with a less duration gem at 20 quality.

Could even use a Rapid Decay to drop it more AND gain more damage over time.

Why did you spec into Quick Recovery over the 3 regen nodes at Templar start?

no, phase run works fine. it only turns off if you USE a skill yourself
