Either fix your game or change the lab mechanics

Next league GGG should just make Lab optional as a trail and give ascendancy points at certain act boss fight completions. Then they can simply see how many and how diverse a number of people continue to do the labs. Some love them, some farm them, others hate them.

My guess is that the lab runs would drop significantly. The point of the game is enjoyment and if that means farming maps or whatever instead of doing lab than way force people into content they do not enjoy? What is the point?

That's pretty poor logic. Remove the reward from any optional content and see who still does it.

I'm not so certain it's poor logic.

After GGG removed the large chest from the catacombs, I continued to use it as a place to farm levels, because I enjoyed it even without the potential chest spawn.

I stopped going in it at all after one of the trials was inserted.

Catacombs was my primary farming area as well. I stopped farming there after the waypoint was moved from near the entrance. Of course, Dried Lake is everyone's primary experience farming area now.

Well that's two...

I get depressed every time I reach That Place in the cats. Every time.

My favourite farms are linear runs that more closely resemble the old Bloody Foothills. Ledge, fellshrine, aqueducts. Dried lake is fine but tough to fully clear. And I can get a bit anal there.

I always liked Library, Catacombs and Crypt for a couple more runs. I also like Harvest more as a leveling zone instead of Dried Lake.

Oh, and I always do Dread Thicket as I adore to explore as much as possible even the additional locations and quests, but I am a casual n00b hoarder at heart, and will always remain one...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...
