Either fix your game or change the lab mechanics

Paid for a third uber carry today, guy demanded 2 chaos up front and HE crashed upon zoning 2nd zone after first trial

RIP another 6 chaos

Total lab fee: 14 chaos and still don't have a fucking completion

I'd really like someone at GGG to explain to me how this is an acceptable situation

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

4TH run: guy felt bad for me so offered free run. Got to the 2nd zone, tower that the carry had killed respawned on me as I was recharging my ES and I died... then as I loaded town I crashed lol

I can't make this shit up if I tried.

GGG, you have simply failed to make this game playable and I can't support this kind of retardedness anymore, when you successfully make the game playable I'd like to play it again, let me know when that occurs thanks, for now I've fucking had it with this shit

FYI, my new computer arrived today. (laptop, SSD, 4 core i7, Nvidia 1050ti)

I installed PoE.

I loaded up my little level 80 life based (2.5k) trapper in Standard, since his skill tree wasn't in need of any tweaking due to tree changes (also my one character that least needs the ascendancy classes).

Ran dried lake to get rid of cobwebs and re-learn my keyboard layout.

Grabbed a bow I had laying around and blink arrow from Siosa.
Then I entered the Normal Labyrinth.
This was the first time I was able to go without any disconnects or lag.
This was my first time ascending (and probably my last), took about... I'd say 30min.

Still hate it. No change in my opinion. Especially the burning floors. Going back in there after passing a few leagues I thought I might have a different perspective. If anything, it reinforced how horrible the control scheme is for it. Nothing was too hard about it - just horrible controls, at least it wasn't a total waste of time, since I got my ascendancy (Saboteur).

Yeah. Everything is off with the lab and trials. The quality of design and the way it works with these sloppy point & click controls and animations is weird. Not difficult, but annoyingly second rate.

Welcome back!

The classic (IMHO) example of this is a lever in the end of a cubicle, a saw blade running along the outside wall of the cubicle and floor spikes at the entrance of the cubicle. I clicked on the lever, the spikes immediately thereafter pop up and block the path to the lever and so the character instead runs along the outside of the wall being destroyed by the saw blade. This is an example of what makes the labyrinth frustrating.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
I'm always game for a cool, challenging puzzle to try and figure out. But the lab & trials aren't a cool or challenging puzzle.

Your example is another one where the solution is regen/move speed and zoom zoom flasks. That's it. Too low-brow, annoying and boring for a seasoned exile such as myself. :D
The thing is that Izaro is actually a good fight that properly tests builds, but only if you get mechanics that you have control over preventing (there was one moment where he absorbed a golem while *offscreen* then one shot me with its buff from his normal attack, assuming that wasn't just a crit). It's actually getting through all of the trap layouts that are percentage based and do damage per tick and hoping you don't either die from the traps or randomly DC or the power/internet goes out while trying just to get to him that's such a huge frustrating hassle.

And continues more

How long will this go on GGG? You expect every person who plays this game to pay 30-100c to do lab 25 times until they finally manage to complete one? We had a conversation about the various graphical options and came to the conclusion that any DX option will not help nor does obviously the async which I've already turned off/on and back

Carry died on the 7th try but we FINALLY finished on the 8th try, fortunately I knew some guys from another game or else this would have went on forever

Game nearly crashed after exiting the area on try #8 though

Total cost: 41c, 10+ hours

I'm sure this makes perfect sense to the guys who are profiting from starting lab runs and then not completing though AMIRITE? Well done system you got here GGG
