Either fix your game or change the lab mechanics



Because I'm REALLY not fucking thrilled about paying 4c for a lab offering and seeing this fucking screen halfway through, even after pre-loading the lab by running into the merc lab beforehand. I don't know why this is a problem for you people, the information has clearly shown nobody likes this shitty fucking mechanic, and you're still refusing to change how it works. GET FUCKING RID OF IT

Fucking ridiculous GGG, and I STILL can't start the game without it crashing AT LEAST one fucking time

I mean really I'm trying to play your game and you're doing everything you can to stop me at every fucking turn

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

This isn't a complaint about the labyrinth, it's a complaint about stability. It only involves lab at all because lab is the only content whereby you specifically lose the ability to complete it altogether if your game crashes, including the currency value (in this case, 4c) of your offering(s).

I'd be OK I guess paying for lab now that I'm playing SC (because after years of being shit on by their horrible stability problems, like the one described, I'm tired of dealing with HC), but I'm not OK with GGG costing me currency that I spent to do lab because they can't stabilize their game.

These issues have been going on for over a year now and it has been more than long enough for them to isolate this issue. A fucking two year old using a debugger could figure out what is causing this issue, this isn't excusable anymore.

People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

lol no. COC was the most popular build of all time, i guarantee you much more than 1% of players were playing that shit. It took them years to change it, and COC is still 100% doable and broken, the only version majorly affected was the mjolner version. Other than that COC lost a handful of deeps, nothing to cry about when youre already doing an easy million.

What you say is impossible as Voll's Devotion was 20ex+ before the nerf and it was needed to push CoC Discharge to full potential. There wouldn't even have been enough available on the market for 1% of the playerbase in a league even if you ignore the cost.
Wrong. Close minded view, theres more than one iteration of Cast on Crit and COC is still the fastest clearing build in the game to date.

If you want to argue then you should probably have a full understand of the build youre playing and the LARGE variety of builds capable of dealing just as equally retarded amounts of damage without using COC Discharge and Volls. I literally just said the only one hit hard really hard was the Mjoner version. While it was certainly the best version, it doesnt mean there werent powerful versions available without those items.

The class forums were filled to the brim with Cast on Crit builds, GGG themselves said the podcast prior to nerfing it that it was overwhelmingly popular and too strong.

Edit - Are you going to say the same thing about chaos/poison/ignite when they hit double dipping ? I sure hope not.

No offense but you obviously don't know how statistics work in terms of customer complaints. Also, this isn't just about lab, it's about stability primarily. The issue with lab is that while my game crashes all the time during normal play, it doesn't bother me because I just go into my second portal (or third, sometimes) and complete what is left of the map. In lab I can't do that.

To put this into perspective, out of the 4 labs and 6 uber trials I have had 2 trials crash on me, a third one crashed after zoning out (it retained the progress, fortunately), 2 non-uber lab runs crash on me in the middle of the run and now again after paying for an uber carry had the game crash on me on the second zone change, costing me not only the progress and time but also the 4 chaos for the offering, and it took a really long time to find a lab carry too.

That's a 60% crash/completion ratio. Even a heavily modded skyrim doesn't crash that much. And that's not counting the numerous other times the game crashes when I'm not losing significant value or time such as during normal map runs or other normal content (which thankfully, at least I get to go back into the portal and finish).

There's not really a justification for this, POE is at this point by far the most-crashing game I have ever played, and that's saying something when your game crashes significantly more often than skyrim. Which, BTW, at least in skyrim you can spam the F5 key and not lose significant chunks of progress to offset that problem. There's no such saving grace in POE while you're running lab, you're pretty much boned and everybody knows it.

I really want to play the game right now because I actually really like legacy but it's just too frustrating to have this shit going on constantly.
