My bad. I was thinking about tooltip h/o values but yes if we include Indeniable temp effect (increased accuracy after each crit and accuracy in juggs ways is also attack speed) and refer to cyclone aps as "with everything up" than we have:

Max 3.3 (safe 3.2) for no cdr gear and 6.5 Discharges /s

Max 3.8 (safe 3.7) for a 15% cdr and 7.5 discharges /s

Max 4 (safe 3.9) for a 20% cdr and 8 Discharges /s

This is with Diacharge only and no Arc. For Arc + Diacharge one must reach double of those values.


sorry but why would you need double for discharge+arc?
What's the point of blade vortex btw? I seem to crit often enough to trigger EO without it.

Also any recommendation for something else to put in that slot? Check my character if you want to help.

Because with 150ms cooldown (125-130ms with CDR belt) on both Discharge and Arc you need 13-16 trigger events to fire both 6-8 times per sec.

Charge generation on hit with Romiras ring. Thats the main role of bv. Together with Inyas it is yet another chance for max charges per discharge. I believe I anserwed that question like dozens of times.

BTW: I accidentally respeced out of EE... so this vid is like 50% less DPS than should be anyway... will updated tomorrow with proper one... also...

I will update the guide tomorrow as this one is much more work than my templar Indigon version (which is allready updated) - it needs the new aps to cdr table etc... but basically its just MOAR attack speed (up to 5.5) to have fun with 5.5 Discharge/s AND 5.5 Arcs per sec... (up to 6 if u have godly jewels...)

5+ Arcs and 5+ Discharges are still better than "just" 6 Discharge/s per sec (with slowish 3ish cyclone APS...) Also due to the perma onslaught build is now EXTREMELY fast and fun to play. Praise the new belt ;)



...and throw your shiny CDR belts into the stash... (now seriously just throw it there and close the stash).

Resistances are starting to become a real squeeze with only 1 slot that isnt a unique. Are we just relying purely on jewels for the extra? Because even running the 3 purity auras with an un-corrupted Voll's I'm struggling to get both the stats and res.
Or do we operate under the assumption that we always have at least about 5 endurance charges up and count that towards our res?

Edit* Also, doesn't arc trigger our EE the wrong way? Or do we not care because its mainly for single target and fire discharge is our hardest hitter? Sorry, just trying to wrap my head around everything.

Been following your threads and have been playing Mjolner for quite a many leagues now. This league I started a triple herald-beacon mjolner elementalist, so that I could use molten strike as trigger skill to easily hit the triggers/sec needed for the new cooldown, while also avoiding damage loss from no EE. Currently at 8 - 14 charge discharges/sec. 5.5k hp (6k+ maxed out), 79/79/79 res, lots of armour. No RF. The result has been pretty insane clear speed, single target, and respectable defense. Still looking for the duo purity of elements watchers eye. Should be able to view my char. Roughly based on Simplesim45's Rainbow Rambo.

Can you look into min/maxing Mjolner for elementalist in 3.5? Let me know your thoughts.

You have up to 20 all ress from Volls, up to 14 from saffels, up to 41 from puritys, 20 all res from tree, 8 fire from tree and 25 cold from belt, thats 103 - 60 = 43 fire, 120 - 60 = 60 cold and 95 - 60 = 35 lightning. Add one 10% all jewel and u end up having 53/70/45 than you need 38 light 31 fire and 13 cold from your ring (easy). In end game when min-maxing and u dont want to waste a jewel slot - grab yourself a corrupted 15% all res romiras. As far as rare ring goes you can have ruby with 40 light, 15 cold, str or int, 70ish life and cold dmg as well as topaz with 20 fire 12 all res, str or int and life also any other combination with two stone rings etc. I dont see any isues.

As far as Arc and EE goes- that was discussed allready. Arc will harm your EE only outside of cyclones range. Which is a good deal since Arc alone is enough for pack clearing. At the same time within cyclone range (which is close to discharge range) Arc has no effect on EE - every Arc and Discharge trigger is done with cyclone hit which reduced resistance by hiting with physical + cold dmg just before the cast of each corresponding spell.

When I have time. I theorycrafted Witch Elementalist molten strike with heralds as well as inquisitor. I found that Inquisitor is better on paper, tested it in-game and while it was good I didnt write a guide beacuse it wasnt good enough for me. Curious about the witch thou, on paper she looked kinda meh for me. Do you have any Guardian vid with her?
