All 3 of my family also crashing sometimes on changing zones.

We gave up on Lab for now. Just impossible to complete a lab when one of us crash on a zone each time.

All running the steam version on 64 bit machines.
Just crashed for the first time since my reinstall. I played for 2,5 hours just fine. Before I was crashing every other zone.

From the client.worker2 log file; 2017/03/05 21:10:25 1098422 52 [WARN Client 11496] FMOD Failed to load bank FMOD/Desktop/_Monsters_Goatman.bank with error code 18 while loading into town. Although that log file is floaded with similar errors/warnings.

Adding myself to affected users.

Noticing a lot of lag and random crashes since 2.6.0.

Running PackCheck.exe now, not sure if it'll fix it.
Having the same issues on steam client with the latest patch. Seems disabling multitheading fixes it for me.

FMOD errors relate to sound.

i suggest, for you anyway, using the switches for no sound. see if that changes things because turning off the sound should make an FMOD error go away.

i mean... as a workaround that would allow you to play at least if it works.

i think you may be on to something there.

i just switched over to DX11Beta with multithreading disabled to test it. normally as soon as it logs into town i crash. this time it is running fine though!
