Hillary usually has to show her "nice" face, she isn't doing that deliberately, it is a slip up. Trump is making haters everywhere. Trump is making the same mistakes as the liberals, infringing on people's lives and pissing them off. At this rate, Trump haters will outnumber the Trump supporters. He was a wildcard but not anymore. You can't con people, at least not for long. Not when you seen the content. If Swing votes is what won him the election, it could cost him the next one.
I don't think so, because Trump doesn't merely make people hate him, he doesn't unite the people against him. He doesn't unite the people behind him, either. He divides. And the method he uses to accomplish this is the very predictable responses of his haters, who are all too willing to fall directly into his traps if it gives them a platform to virtue-signal their hatred.

He doesn't divide his base, though. He divides his opposition, destroying their unity. Recent example: NFL vs the National Anthem — was just Kaepernick, now it's the nearly the whole league. This is more a response to ESPN than anything else.

And you think having someone who's goal is to make a ton of people hating each other as president is a good thing?

People underestimate hate. Hate is irrational, destructive and deep. There is no traps to hate someone, it isn't virtue-signalling, it is personal. If his haters gonna vote against him regardless of who his opponents is, Trump doomed himself.
I realize Premier Trump is a walking punchline on a good day, but I must give him props on his vision regarding the tax code. I like what I see so far.

Make the rich richer and America poor ?
Superb

Impossible to evaluate without knowing two unknowns:

What the cut-offs are for the three new tax brackets (shrunk from 7).

What is going to happen to repatriated taxes being held overseas, and part 'b' of that, will the new tax code stop it from continuing to happen.

Trump could trot out Venezuelan socialism and Dems would call it 'making the rich richer' just because it came from him or a (R). Too soon to get in the weeds over something that, not only has it not been passed, it's not even written.

Considering that so far, his idea was to cut funds for obamacare (making the poor poorer) and to give tax breaks to the richests....

It would've succeeded too if not for those pesky oil prices.

He told us what he is putting in his tax plans. It include a large tax cut for corporations, minor tax cut for some and an increase deficit. Borrow money to give corporations and some people tax cuts. That is the plan.

You have to come up with the ideas first before you write something down. If he is changing it later, that is another story.

The blanket statement "hate is irrational and destructive" is just as invalid as "love is irrational and destructive." Hate can be; love can be, too. But neither is necessarily so, and both are warranted in certain situations.

The biggest issue I see with people and love/hatred is that they cannot abide ambivalence; this is an error in judgement. Just because you hate something about a person does there are not things about that person deserving of love, and vice versa. Issues, not identities. In the current anti-Trump groupthink we are currently witness to the historical height of this particular error; they will predictably hate anything Trump does, and are very vulnerable to do exactly what Trump wants as a result.

Trump: Stop hitting yourselves.
The Left: (proceeds to go all Fight Club on themselves) That'll show you, you white supremacist!

This isn't 4D chess rocket science, people. But until the Left can normalize calm down regarding Trump, they're going to keep doing precisely what he wants them to do. TDS is real, and it's going to ensure a Trump reelection unless someone finds a cure.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
