Do you know why Exalted price has fallen so hard on BSC?

" "they" aren't doing shit. And I still hoard most of my wealth in exalts. Not that I'd be "forced" to do anything if exalt prices would skyrocket again. At this point in the league I already have everything anyway. There's only four weeks of BSC left. On another note: As I said, I'm making money trading currency. My main character has several hundreds of exalts worth of gear and most of that was generated trading currency. To do that, I obviously had to watch exchange ratios myself. As a matter of fact, the exalt price started dropping shortly after the new divination cards got introduced and I already found those while leveling new characters myself, even on cruel. What i mean is, those selling ex cheap, are new players, that just reached merciless and need chaos because every shit is priced in chaos. And the chaos to ex is cheap BECAUSE the stuff which should be priced in ex(the expensive ones) are priced in chaos too. Making their luck turn into shit, cuz instead of exchanging their precious ex they got while leveling for 65c, they will get 45c and... from now on you can guess the story. Anyway, i don't understand why so many people are defending the ex value being so low now. Lol... as i said, since i started playing(1 year ago), it was never that low. And it sucks, cuz you already take a long time to build a char, why the fuck those flippers are trying to make it even harder? Is there something more expensive than mirror or headhunter for them to buy that i don't know about? Ex at 45c IN BSC ATM is a joke, that is all. " If a player is so new, that he does not know about the chaos recipe, he will also not be able to afford high end uniques and items no matter how you shape your argument. Unless you expect them to get insanely lucky and drop 2-3 exalts. Remember they are new players. They dont have extreme speed map clearing builds. They just play the game a bit. Heck, doubt they will even be able to afford 30-40 chaos items most of the time. |

" Medium value items being priced in chaos instead of exalts (stuff that's worth a few hundred chaos) is a result of the exalted price dropping, not the other way around. The new cards got introduced. Then the exalted price started dropping. THEN (after they dropped below 60c) more items got priced in chaos instead of exalted. That was the order of events. |

" The funny part about your picture is that it is true. There are groups of players that manipulate the price of expensive items. You don't even need to be as smart as you won't be, just search for some expensive item that you will see the same person have multiple of them. Try to buy it and get no answer ;) It is funny when a joke is really one. Sometimes...

We all know that ex utility is very limited to craft and few people craft with it. But is largely used to trade items, if people stop trading with them, their price goes down. " People price in chaos because if you price in exalts then your item will be listed farther down the list. Look at the Dying Sun listings for example: 300 chaos Flask listed ABOVE 5ex Flask, even though 300 chaos is 6.5ex. |
