Been following this guide and I'm thoroughly enjoying the build so far! I have one question though. I've been gearing up far enough that I don't need my spare ring slot for resistances anymore, so I'm planning to craft a damage ring with an essence. What damage type would provide the biggest improvement to the build? Increased cold, fire or chaos damage? Thanks in advance!

" Le Heup would be a good budget version for damage. 20% double dip damage. On the other hand, you can get ~30% chaos damage + the 25% elemental damage from Opal. 30% chaos is 18% double dip on Vortex, which is almost the same as the Le Heup. The extra 25% elemental more than makes up for it. And then in addition you have all the extras a rare ring can get, whereas Le Heup will only get that little bit of all res. Most important is the ES you can get, since we're already shield-less and down the other two jewelry slots for ES. You can alternatively use a Moonstone if you want for more ES. But you wanted a GG item, right? It will definitely cost much more to craft a chaos opal ring. Hey mate. Been continuing with this and enjoying it a lot (even tho maps aren't so generous to me so it's hard to get to guardians). Bought a Shaper set at level 90 to try it out (first try ever) and I didn't manage to get enough DPS for phase 3 it seems. He is moving around a lot and the vortexes aren't exactly dealing that much tons if you only have 1sc to cast.
Any tips ? You said easy Shaper kills, and I don't doubt it, but could you look at my profile and maybe gearcheck ? Thanks a lot ! |

" Couple of notes: You're using two stibnite flasks. The witchfire is a stibnite, so you don't need the other one. I wouldn't path through the inc curse effect for the curse. The two curses it effects don't benefit much from it. Warlord's mark is an extra .2% leech which isn't much of a difference. Temporal chains gets 4% inc duration and 4% inc slow which don't really matter much. The only curse that would benefit is Vulnerability, but you can't increase that since it's from a flask. I'd spend that point elsewhere. You're missing a lot of jewel slots, most alarmingly the 2 node one near VP. Jewel slots are way more important than the chaos/DoT wheel near the curse. You can get 3 mod jewels of spell damage/area damage/chaos damage/damage for 30%+ double dipping damage. DoT damage doesn't double dip, and chaos is only 60% effective in double dipping. You can drop that wheel + the extra point from the curse wheel and pick up 2 jewel slots for 5 points. That's way more damage than the DoT wheel. You can swap out AA for HoI for shaper. He doesn't do any phys damage unless you're going to get hit by his slam (which you shouldn't). His beam does partial fire damage, but you aren't face tanking it. Really, you aren't getting hit by Shaper at all, so AA doesn't do anything in this fight. Phase 3 is easily the hardest part of Shaper. He's a joke until then. Since this is your first time, that's really what you're experiencing is just the mechanics of dealing with his clone. The only reason I'm really able to do it on my first time is because I watched so many videos on Shaper kills, but even then I couldn't do phase 3 deathless on my 2nd kill either. I also personally waited to vaal a culling dagger before attempting him just to make that phase easier. Extremely comfy leveling with Lifesprigs and Tabula. Absolutely trucks through anything so far. Tomorrow I'll get CI and my 750ES 5L to wear until I can 5L a Beast Fur Shawl.

Great build, i'd suggest to play the LL version btw, with my gear which is average im sitting on 9600es and considering how ultrasafe is this build well the QoL totally worth it. And i heavy suggest to use orb of storms (if u aren't using any other trick) to proc EO when doing shaper/guardians, it really makes the difference. ( i use it instead of vaal disc in my setup )

I seem to be pretty squishy on bosses and definitely can't face tank a lot of them. Any idea what's going wrong? I have 9.5k~ ES.
