[2.6] CRIT HoWA BF/ST Raider [13k ES, 60k BF/265k GMP ST DPS, Stun-immune] [4 sec Chayula kill]

About 40 regrets and a few exalts later on a new regalia and... Well I cannot explain it. My tool tip is about the same in my hideout. Keep in mind that is without Elemental Overload activated. It's about 5-6k less.

With the new tree, I now have zero mana issues. I can whirl forever, i regen it fast enough. That's a huge plus. I went from about 9500 ES to 10500 ES. My Int went from 1050 to 1300.

I can now comfortably drop discipline all together and run HoT and Wrath with Empower.

I will stay non-crit. It was a fun foray, but I can see the appeal of non-crit now. The tool tip warrior in me loves a fat multiplier, but this is just too good to pass up. With Ancestral protector, Elemental Weakness, HoT, and Wrath... Man the Minotaur lasts like 1 second. This is really picky stuff though... Because none of the guardians (at least with no res/damage/life mods) can outlast the vinktar.
Ta-da... Died once, but got a nice reward. :)

Also got some gear upgrades, so posting my current gear and hideout tooltip (80k DPS: GMP + golem + PoL + Discipline + HoT). Next up: getting a sexy Culling Strike claw and Emperor's Wit.

hi again,

i get some levels and reach to 85.

my ho dps is 9k and es with discipline is 8k.

i need some gear advices to move on.

It's worth noting that you are no longer getting the additional Leech from Soul Raker. Obviously if things die fast enough this doesn't matter, but against heavily multi-phased bosses like Chimera I don't think it's possible to keep Vinktar up the full fight even if you were theoretically one-shotting everything so I find that having good leech is important.

That said it's interesting that your DPS is as good or better than your Crit version after buffs - gonna play around with it on Path of Building to see what happens with my gear.

Edit:

Tried it out real quick - I think a key factor here is that you are using Shaper's Touch and Astramentis already. While this is undeniably a good combination if you aren't able to find accuracy on other gear, one of the biggest benefits of going Crit is the ability to get a big chunk of Crit Multi along with ES% on your amulet.

All that said, I was able to get very close to my current in-combat tooltip DPS if I swapped out my gloves and amulet for Shaper's Touch and Astramentis (still using my Crit Multi jewels, but I think it's fair to assume I'll need to find res on them so probably not much more damage.) Although my effective DPS with flasks up was much lower due to a Diamond Flask being much more potent than Atziri's Promise or a Sulphur flask.

Heya yup its not really worth going for crit if you have no crit multi on gear or jewels tbh. In those cases its probably best to stay non-crit. Diamond flasks are also a great DPS boost which unfortunately do not reflect on the tooltip DPS.

I personally wouldn't recommend dropping discipline tbh, ele reflect is a major issue for HoWA.

You're welcome! I would suggest getting a better amulet with higher INT and higher crit multi.

What are your jewels like? I'd suggest focus on getting the right jewels for now with 2 x crit multi and attack speed mods

Dropped Discipline, still have 9k ES. Big boost is probably from the 300 extra int I got from switching trees. I'm comfortable with that for now.

Last night I managed my first deathless all corrupted guardians, shaper, and uber Atziri, and a nice solid 3.8 second chayula (Finished the map with 43 seconds on the clock). I failed all of these while crit with a 375 multiplier. Guardians didn't even get the privilege to experience the vinktar. The DPS boost from empower + Wrath is quite nice.

I think the attack speed is what is keeping me alive and making my life very easy now.

I feel like I invested pretty well into crit, but my anecdotal results are enough for me to stay non-crit.
Hey Invalesco, I texted you earlier in the game and asked you to take a look at my stuff and tell me what needs improvement the most so here's my stuff:

Thanks for doing this, I really like the build and right now I'm totally overwhelmed.

Edit: Forgot to mention: I'm playing ST right now but I really want to switch to flurry once I got one or two more upgrades cause I like the skill so much.

Hey guys, is there any better way to generate power charges? Blade vortex is fine but not enough range for me personally..or maybe i'm doing it wrong range killing mobs

You're welcome! At this point I think its your gloves and chest that can most use an upgrade. Aim for a 150+ ES gloves and a 700+ ES chest, preferably 6L. Those will make your life much easier. Also focus on crit multi on jewels since you'll be transitioning to BF.

Personally I wouldn't be too fussed about generating power charges. They're helpful but not necessary. If you're already killing mobs too quickly for them to come near u then u don't really need the charges.
